David Tyree made two huge catches after catching no TD’s the entire season

I gotta get this off my chest. Why the hell did the NFL have Doug Williams carry the Lombardi Trophy up to the podium to be presented?

On the anniversary of his historic win against the John Elway led Broncos, dude is still a nigger huh?

Yeah, I said it.

I thought that was the most disrespectful way of honoring anyone ever.

I know Fox has the contract, so Terry Bradshaw is paid to make the presentation, but it would have been good for the kids to hear Doug say something just so they could ask their fathers who Williams was. Isn’t that how role models are formed?

Don’t give me “Well Doug agreed to do it.” either. You could see in his face that the moment just didn’t feel right.

On a lighter note, LL Cool J and Busta Rhymes, please stay away from Super Bowl commercials where they cake makeup on your face like a not “around the way girl.”

Spoke with T3 before the game and Justin Tuck’s name came up. I remember a play where he walked down LaDanian Tomlinson from about thirty yards and couldn’t believe this cat played on the D line.

He set the tone early and the Pats never recovered. Conceivably he could have won MVP, but you gotta tip your hat to Eli. The Giants had to score a TD on the last drive, and they did the damn thing.

Won the game…Play of the world

I was on the phone with my oldest–Mizzo Jr.–when Tyree made his miraculous 32 yard catch. Proud moment between father and son. I’ll cherish forever hearing the excitement in his voice.

Eli did throw it up for anyone to catch, but to get away from such a torrid rush at that moment was nothing short of spectacular. That play will be shown long after we all are gone.

What was up with Belichick going for in on 4th and 13? Kick the field goal there and you never know. Very questionable call–as was the choice of wearing that bright red sweatshirt. Coughlin changed because he had to. Bill prolly thought he was pimpin’.

Sore loser. Gets no respect for leaving the field with time left on clock

There’s no way the Giants win the Super Bowl without all the drama early in the season. Like I said above, Tom Coughlin softened his military stance just enough to keep his team in the fold.

Tiki, damn bruh…should have stayed, but in leaving you took a lot of tension with you that would have destroyed the locker room.

Eli should be criticized his entire career for wanting out of San Diego, but you gotta give it to him, he came through like a champ–even after a 20 interception regular season.

Another thing…..

I’m sick of this Golden Boy BS! They hyped up Tom Brady (Go Blue) for 2 weeks and he played like shit. He missed receivers in many instances. He didn’t use the ankle injury as an excuse was very classy in defeat, but he deserves any criticism pointed his way.

Remember what they said about McNabb when the Giants punched him in the mouth?

I want to hear the same thing said about Brady. 14 points and barely a media peep?

Wow.

I don’t give a damn if the quarterback is Black or White, there is no way they should get the lion share of the coverage when there are 43 other players (starters) who helped get their teams to the pinnacle of the sport.

Fans please don’t buy into that BS. Please?

Smash the present media construct when it comes to quarterbacks. It’s old. It’s tired and it softens every single kid who wants to lace ‘em up.

I don’t ever want to hear another word about a football player’s boot when we all knew damn well Tom Brady was going to play.

The fact is dude was sacked 5 times. Great called game by Steve Spagnuolo. He just earned himself a job. Strahan, Osi and Tuck were all over Brady. Seeing big boys shootin’ the gap was a thing to behold.

As a father, I couldn’t imagine being Archie Manning right now. He never made the playoffs as a NFL quarterback, but now has two Super Bowl MVP sons?

Goodness.

Randy Moss has played on two of the best teams of all time and has no rings to show for it.

That’s a damn shame. Stay at it Randy. Hold ya head.

I guess Plaxico Burress gave the Pats too much credit with his pre-Super Bowl 23-17 Giant win prediction huh?

The media would have slammed him today if the Giants lost.

Georgetown/Villanova anyone?

Assante Samuels missed a sure game ending interception. How many times have you seen that happen? Teams who miss that interception seem to lose most of the time. The Patriots did not want it enough to go down as the best team ever or they would have stopped the Giants on the last possession. Didn’t know the Giants were offensive juggernauts, but they stepped up and played championship football.

The Pats also lost because they did not make the necessary adjustments. Where were the first down intermediate 10-15 yard throws?

Oh, it was that Justin Tuck truck? My bad.

Defense wins championships.
