If the Eagles trade Donovan, the franchise will be set back half a decade

Look for a big off season in the NFL. While the pundits say there’s no clearcut franchise player in the upcoming draft (Dorsey, McFadden?), there are three big name All-Pro caliber veterans supposedly on the market to be had if ya pockets are deep.

Bobby Knight Resigns From Texas Tech, Effective Immediately

Say what you will about Knight, but he graduated 98% of his kids

Wow I guess Bobby Knight and John Chaney are goin’ fishin’ sooner than we all thought. I’ve had mad issues with Knight that have nothing with his abrasive style. The official word from the coroner’s office has come back in the death of UGK’s Pimp C, and the verdict is that the Texas rapper died from an accidental overdose, due to a combination of cough syrup and a pre-existing sleep apnea condition.

The coroner’s office said Monday (February 4) that the death was ruled as accidental and cited “promethazine/codeine effects and other unestablished factors” as the cause of death — specifically the use of prescription medicine used to treat coughs and congestion, and his pre-existing condition.

The rapper was found dead in a Los Angeles hotel on December 4th, following a concert the night before at the House Of Blues with rapper Too Short.

He was just 33 years old.
