Nuff respect to ‘Air’ McNair. I still think he should’ve won the Heisman in 95 and he should’ve been the lone MVP in 2003. I also agree with HD regarding the Oilers/Titans holding him back and not allowing him to ‘air’ it out more.

People always talk about how ‘tough’ Brett Favre was. But McNair was probably the toughest player i’ve ever seen, especially at the QB position.

Congrats to Steve McNair on a great career but for all his accomplishments I still say the Oilers/Titans held him back much too long in his prime by relying more on the running game and Eddie George all those seasons.

I’m also salty because the mug stiffed me at an ATL strip club by trying to be all incognito in the place. But anyway, good luck to him.

THere’s been a backlash because people realized ABC wasn’t just trying to make a fool of Barack OBama….they basically called the rest of us stupid- right to our faces….my goodness, that was SO blatant. Gibson and Stepha-chaun basically had the unmitigated gall to tell us “we think you guys are dumb enough to fall for what we’re doing here”. This backlash is the realization of how personally insulting it was.

Air was the man to me. I’ll never forget his many fourth quarter comebacks and his warrior drive down the field in the Super Bowl. He put the team on his back. I hope he gets the respect he deserves post career.
