Can someone tell me why I should vote for this man for the most important job in the world? What has he ever done? He’s never run a company or managed at an executive level. He was a community activist, (that’s a job?) a state senator and now a US senator for the past 3 years. Can anyone tell me what he’s done as senator, other than run for president? Is there any legislation that he helped pass? Does he chair any commitees? I don’t know that he’s ever really worked a day in his life at all.
The very few things the public actually does know about him are scary. He said he’d negotiate with terrorists like Hamas. He’s said he’d invade our ally, Pakistan. He promises to raise taxes on “the wealthy”, not because it will increase revenues to the treasury (history proves it will have the opposite effect), but because it is more “fair”. He associates with a known terrorist, Ayers, a known criminal Rezco (he bought a lot from him for under market value), a known separatist and bigot, Jeremiah Wright. The title of his book “Audacity of Hope”, came from the title of one of Wright’s sermons. His wife hates this country although she’s benefitted from the best education available to anyone. He’s thrown his own grandmother under the bus in order to score political points. He is the most liberal politician in congress. All I really know about him is that he will say or do anything in order to get elected.

No disrespect to Sen Obama but Mrs. Obama would get it erry day all day.

Now that my teenage lust is out of the way, DM you need to check yourself with that pot-stirring talk. Don’t ever think that just because an Obama is a serious presidential candidate or Oprah is a billionaire that everything is copastetic in race relations in this country. Everyday there’s a new report about Blacks with better credit scores being soaked for higher interest rates on loans, a Black man being freed from twenty years in prison because he was innocent all along, or a qualified Black candidate being turned down for a job given to a less-qualified white candidate because the person’s name might have been too ethnic or the interviewer just felt more comfortable with a Caucasian hire.

The tenet that discredits Black self-help conservatives in my eyes is that you guys always try to paint your brethren as willing participants in their victimhood. I’ve seen Black people do dirt and deserve whatever happens to them but more times than not I’ve seen men and women give up on their dreams because the deck has been stacked against them from birth. Higher infant mortality rate, poor school systems, lower wages paid for the same work, and then on top of all that dying at a younger age because of the higher stresses of trying to carve out a fruitful life in the rocky soil of American racism. Some things that Black conservatives put forth are valid but you never show that you have any love for your people and seem to quick to wish for a pat on the head from the White man to ever gain any influence with the larger mass of us.

That plus the fact you guys are full of s***.

Why shouldn’t black Americans be proud of our country. AMerica has allowed us to be the richest collections of blacks on the earth. America has provided us opportunity, protection, and wealth, what is not to be proud of. People can talk about history all they want, every race in creation got shitted on once or twice, but that is no excuse to be bitter, especially when you personally haven’t gone through any of the real crap that went on in the past.

Really though, what did I say that was so out of line. The lady is not going to help him if/when he gets to the general election. She is racist just like Rev. Wright, plus she is a loose cannon, you never know when she’ll say something stupid like “this is the first time in my life that I’m proud to be an American”. While you may agree with such sentiment that will not go over well in the general population.
