This Shit Ain’t Cute!

obamatshirtmiranda This Shit Aint Cute!
Are you serious? But I thought we’ve come so far?

Sent this from Miranda who is just as disgusted as I am. I couldn’t imagine living in the area where these shirts are sold outside of a bar. People listen, there some things that change but a lot is going to stay the same. We can only hope that the good people out there of all races understand what’s at stake in November.

How in the hell can they want George Bush 3?!? Remember 4 dollars for gas is not far from 10. Don’t think it’s beyond the realm of possibility.

Christian Boone of the AJC wrote a piece on this in today’s edition.

  1. origin Says:

Dang shame……..yeap the more things change the more they stay the same. Yet folks swear there is no racism in america…….its all in black folks minds. Even on AJC only half of the people who voted felt it was racist.

Oh I got it since its curious george its not racist. You know its is a kinder more gentle type bigotry. You know the kind you hear on talk radio.

Whats next??? The next time the Klan goes marching folks are gonna say that they are just practicing dressing up like ghost for halloween??

See this is the stuff that Obama will have to face. Its going to get worst when he wins the nomination. Man the bigots and the fools in media will really have a field day. The media will try and uncover every rock thathey can find on that brotha. The rev Wright stuff is just the tip of the iceburg.

  2. Chuck Says:

Everytime I even fix my mind to believe Obama can pull this off, something like this slaps the shit out of me with reality.

I have so much respect for Barack for even putting himself in a situation where he’ll have to deal with this (and potentially dangerous situations).

  3. michelle Says:

WTF? I’m tired of the commentary on this WV victory for Hillary. Those damn racist hicks were’t going to vote for Obama. Why won’t the fools on these news shows admit what it is? We need more people of color in the media so the truth will be told.

  4. michelle Says:

Constantly asking the question Why can’t he win white working class votes? Because the crakers are uneducated racist and there isn’t a damn thing he can do about that.

  5. Okori Says:

aigh…… let’s not do this. Please.

I voted for Obama in NY… and i’m white, and working class. do not tar us all with the same brush. my friends voted for Obama in AL, LA, and MS and they are white and working class too. Geez.

  6. HarveyDent Says:

Shit ain’t cute but it is true. More power to Obama for thinking he can sing Cum By A with people like this but there are always those who will be out there creating racist examples like this. Instead of scolding his crazy old uncle, read: Rev. Wright, maybe Obama should call out well-meaning Whites who don’t call these spades what they are and that is racist.

  7. cheeseheadpete Says:

I voted for Barack. He won wisconsin. I hope the majority of reasonable, thinking human beings see how ignorant, and downright STUPID this t-shirt is. Unfortunately, the world is full of slack-jawed morons.

  8. thebrotherreport Says:

I’m not surprised by it at all the world hasn’t changed nor has the thinking of some of the people that live in it.

Monday on GMA a lady from WV said that she could not bring herself to vote for Obama because he was “a Muslim”, where did that come from. It’s discouraging that every time you turn around this man has to give an explanation for his background, people he’s associated with, why he wore a blue shirt, etc.

If he didn’t win the Presidency it wouldn’t bother me. I would rather see him not win and be safe, than to be in office and have some nut try to do him and his family harm.

  9. rashad Says:

I want to take the high road like Denny Green and ignore this..but I think it would be fun to make some offensive t-shirts featuring McCain, Clinton and Bush for the hell of it. Then the outrage would be evenly distributed.

  10. michelle Says:

    Okori,

I apologize. I wasn’t talking about all working class white people. I know that everyone isn’t racist. However, poor uneducated and white in many cases also equals racist and homophobic.

  11. thebrotherreport Says:

I must say that I am impressed by the turnout of white voters in favor of Obama especially amongst the younger voters it seems genuine that they are ready and willing to accept a change in the political climate.

  12. michelle Says:

    TBR,

I second that. Let’s just hope that the good ole boys don’t get their way and steal the nomination from Obama.

  13. DavidMac Says:

Poor uneducated white people aren’t all racists or homophobes. Also why does accepting homosexuality mean something, that is against most of the religions in the world.

I think its funny that you all are outraged at such a innocent shirt, but it is even funnier because you all can’t take the characterization of Obama as Curious George, which fits him, so you ignore the character and just go for the cheap racist angle.

Good ole identity politics. I can’t wait to see Obama run a general election.

  14. michelle Says:

    DavidMac,

I didn’t say all poor whites are this way. I said many of them are. Like skin heads, poor, uneducated and white. Dah! Also why should anyone care who someone chooses as partner? To mentally and physically harm someone for this reason is sick. Last but not least. Don’t compare Obama to a monkey. He is a man and a graduate of Harvard. Maybe your name should be on that shirt with some of the dumbass things you say.

  15. Okori Says:

yeah that is sometimes the case. but poor and uneducated in any race equals racist and homophobic.

  16. michelle Says:

I wasn’t as hard on the WV voters as the NY Daily News. They called them toothless.

  17. Okori Says:

was that the headline or the body of the column?

  18. michelle Says:

I don’t think so. I know a lot of poor black people that welcome anyone into their lives regardless of color. I’ve also never known that to be the case in the black community since blacks for the most part have been and still are poor. Also poor blacks adored and voted for Clinton. Those poor whites from WV that I was speaking of would never vote for any black person. Their hatred runs too deep.

  19. michelle Says:

It was the headline but the meaning is the same. It was taking a jab at the population there. Hill billy was also part of the headline.

  20. DavidMac Says:

michelle, people not accepting homosexuality does not mean they treat homosexuals different than anyone else. Thats the only point i’m making with regards to the homophobia allegations getting thrown around.

Okori, poor and uneducated in any race is not synonymous with racism or homophobia, that seems like more of that liberal elite talk that is going to ensure that Obama doesn’t win the general election.

Its cool for the liberal press to bash those in Appalachia, the South, and in rural parts of the company. This only helps in not getting a democrat because the liberal media alienates those socially conservative Democrats who live in the area and drive them to Republican arms.

  21. DavidMac Says:

Michelle the majority of blacks are not poor, no where close to it actually. Also why are you casting your racist views on those in WV. What because you are racist you want to make them racist to support your world view?

  22. michelle Says:

    DavidMac,

I am not racist. My husband is white dork. I’m just tired of people of color being treated like second class citizens. I know white folks who are beautiful people that are aware of the world we live in. I also know racist. I’m sorry if ignorant thinking is something I’m annoyed by. Many blacks still live in poverty.

  23. Okori Says:

DavidMac you better stop here because with me you don’t know what you are talking about. I spent summers in the Deep South from the age of 4 to the age of 16, and there are more people than you realize who would vote for anyone but Obama just because Obama’s black. These are the facts, and they are indisputable.

Michelle: If it sounded like i was implying that the entirety of the black community is homophobic that is not what i was trying to do. But there are some people in our community and in the diaspora who have serious problems with homosexuality. It’s a shame that we do this to each other, but it was done.

  24. michelle Says:

My best friend graduated from West Virginia and she told me that WV is very racist. Like TBR said in an earlier post there was a older white woman on tv stating that she wouldn’t vote for Obama because he’s a muslim. First of all so what if he was. What’s this war on Islam? There are many good muslims in the world. It’s an uninformed, ignorant mind that would say something like that.

  25. michelle Says:

    Okori,
The difference is the level of hatred. You don’t see black guys beating gay men to death. Blacks could do better though. I do agree with you on that. All people should be loved and included regardless of color or sexual orientation.

  26. DavidMac Says:

How are people of color being treated as 2nd class citizens? What is it that white people can do that you can’t? Hell a half-black is going to be running for president for what the 2nd time in history, and maybe he will be the 2nd mixed president or 3rd, if you count Thomas Jefferson.

So where is the second class citizenship? Also, many PEOPLE live in poverty, but again the majority of black people do not live in poverty, the majority of blacks are no where close to living in poverty.

    ——————-

Okori, you can spend summers in the South all you want. I live in the South 365 days a year. I have been around to pretty much every state in the South, Mississippi, Arkansas, Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia (rural, not ATL), South Carolina, North Carolina. So don’t try to bring up your staying in the summer like that makes you a fucking authority on how it is to live in the South. Now of course you have some people who won’t vote for Obama because he is black, probably less than the number of blacks who will only vote for Obama because he is black. Also if you are going to talk about facts, break out some stats and show me, that is if you want to talk about facts that are indisputable.

  27. DavidMac Says:

Michelle, so what if the lady wouldn’t vote for him because he was a muslim, why shouldn’t she. That is a big deal to her, even though it was some misinformation she was fed. Who makes you the arbiter of what is relevant for people to base their vote on.

As for homosexuals, I’ve seen black guys beatdown a guy because he was guy, the guy was a hairdresser, the same way I’ve been around white guys who don’t like gays. One is no different than the other. Crazy , hate filled people attack others because they are gay, that isn’t a race thing, that is a criminal thing and to try to point that to white people and say it is a white people thing is ignorant.

  28. michelle Says:

    DavidMac,

Obama didn’t have the black vote until Bill Clinton made the stupid comments in SC. One thing you can’t do is piss black people off. Bill did that and well… the rest is history.

  29. michelle Says:

    DavidMac,

AHHH, problem is HE ISN’T A MUSLIM!!!!!!!! There is no excuse for an adult being that ignorant. It’s just her reason for not voting for a black man. You can’t possibly be that naive.

  30. DavidMac Says:

Michelle, the black vote isn’t going to help Obama. Now he is the “Black Candidate”, Rev. Wright didn’t help him with this conundrum he is in now either. He is not going to be able to win the primary and compete against McCain as well as Hilary, in part because he is the “Black Candidate” which is going to turn off the Hispanics and also because he is extremely liberal and will not bring in the socially conservative Democrats (aka Regan Democrats). Obama is actually the worst candidate they could have pushed to general, but they picked him early as the “heir” and it would look terrible to come to their senses and get Hilary in there now.

As for the muslim comment, yeah I know he isn’t one, thats why I said the lady was a victim of misinformation. As for it being code for not voting black, that is an absurd statement, I know black people in my church who said they won’t vote for him because he is a muslim. I’m not going to correct them though, but hey that mistake still happens.

  31. thebrotherreport Says:

That woman wasn’t a victim of misinformation. She was victim of her own igonorance. She looked no further than the man’s last name and put the blinders on from that point.

  32. DavidMac Says:

So what, he should have been campaigning their even more to let them know he was a Christian. Politicians are expected to politic and get their message out, not sit and think people are going to figure it out on their own. That is his job, if people didn’t know that then he failed.

  33. thebrotherreport Says:

So what? If she had read a paper or turned on her t.v. she would’ve known that he was a Christian through the Jeremiah Wright ordeal.

If he was Muslim that would be a much bigger issue than him being a Black candidate

  34. DavidMac Says:

Last time I checked its Obama who needs every vote he can get , not the lady who is not voting for him because she thinks he is a Muslim. Obama has the problem in this situation, not her.

  35. thebrotherreport Says:

    What problem does he have?

  36. Miranda Says:

Those bangos are pretty loud today…..michelle, okori, TBR…you’re gonna have to raise your voices a little more.

  37. DavidMac Says:

Obama has a problem winning against McCain, evidenced by his low numbers against him in polls, TBR. He needs all the dems he can get, but like you, he probably looks down on them as hillbilly trash who are distractions. I believe that is what he calls everything that is unfavorable for him, distractions.

  38. thebrotherreport Says:

I didn’t say the woman was trash or anyone in WV, I said the woman was ignorant as was her comment.

Don’t try to read my thoughts, you’ll hurt yourself.

  39. Okori Says:

David you cannot seriously believe this. I know you like to come on here and shuck, jive, dance, and style your way through things but this is ridiculous.

Because I like proving you wrong Shaska (old heads google that) http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2008/president/national.html
and because you’ll probably allege some kind of a liberal conspiracy try this: http://www.pollster.com/08-US-Pres-GE-MvO.php

sit down now David. you’re on the floor, your face is all sliced to crap, and the ref is counting. let him count to 10.

  40. thebrotherreport Says:

Okari - Not Shaska Whatley formerly known as Pistol Pez?

  41. Okori Says:

yes Shaska Whatley. i named him that due to the complete embarrassment Shaska was

  42. thebrotherreport Says:

He killed me callin Paul Jones “Boss”.

What about when the One Man Gang supposedly discovered his African roots and transforned into Akeem. And Slick helped him out.

Mean Gene was supposed to be in “DEEPEST DARKEST AFRICA” but was in a back alley in Southside Chicago

  43. Okori Says:

which was equally as bad…. but Akeem redeemed himself because the guy behind the kufi actually donated a whole bunch of money to the United Negro College Fund. Plus…. try to hear Jive Soul Bro and not dance a little bit.

  45. Mark Says:

While I am not an Obama supporter - this shirt was on an African-American woman. Many of the comments seem to think this was an old white guy ploy…

We need to get beyond all prejudices!!!

  46. michelle Says:

    Mark,

I don’t care who the shirt was on. No one said there aren’t stupid black people to. We will get beyond racism only when it stops.

  47. origin Says:

Ummmmmm………..mark the lady isn’t wearing the shirt she is holding it up and protesting it. The shirts are being sold by a bar owner who got the shirts from Arkansas.

Michelle this type of ignorance is common in certain places……..One bar is I think Pittsburg was having a w$%back day.

In which they would mexican food and pass out fake green cards. Once Lulac and other groups heard about it they began protesting.

Yet we are suppose to get beyond race but folks comparing this dude to a monkey……….yeah O.K.

  48. michelle Says:

    Mark,

Where did you get the idea that a black woman was wearing this shirt anyway? I think you are incorrect. Also portraying a black man as a monkey is offensive. If you don’t know that then you really don’t care about race relations.

  49. DavidMac Says:

    need a status report covering 4/25 – 5/8.

And then please send me something weekly covering Friday (of the previous week) through Thursday.

    Thank you,

  50. michelle Says:

    Origin,

I’ve heard Obama’s supporters have faced incidents racism all over the country. The MSM of course isn’t reporting any of it. Same BS different day.

  51. origin Says:

Also even the most ignorant black folks are even stupid enough to wear some crap like that……….

You would have to be Jason Whitlock, Larry Eldler and Armstrong Williams to the 9th power.

  52. origin Says:

Yeap Michelle even the AJC has a story on it…..and you won’t hear a story about it on the radio or TV. Unless its Tavis Smiley, Tom Joyner or Michael Baisden telling you.

  53. origin Says:

Boy I can’t wait till last poet and sankofa comment on this mess.

    Demmm brothas gonna go off!!!!!

  54. DavidMac Says:

Sorry about that folks, the forum ate my post and I thought I had copied it but it was something else.

    ———–
To Okori, you are right now Obama does have the lead on McCain, I hadn’t seen the current polls that show him winning. Last week McCain had a significant lead against him, http://rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/election_20082/2008_presidential_election/general_election_match_up_history

I still do not think he will win though, mainly because seniors, hispanic, and white men aren’t voting for him. Add to the fact that there is a great deal of democrats who will not vote for him if he wins the nominantion and you have a bad general election for Obama, unless he get Hilary as his VP.

Now about proof, you told me you had proof that a lot of people wouldn’t vote for Obama simply because he is black. Show me the national scientific polls you have to make you case.

  55. michelle Says:

    Origin,

    I know that’s right. LOL!

  56. Okori Says:

I think ‘Kofa and Poet were already in on this Origin.

And to your point Shaska (yeah that nickname’s too good to let it go): NBC news did some exit polling on this, and Ed Rendell (governor of Pennsylvania) brought it up too. here is the link to rendell: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/02/12/rendell-some-whites-wont-_n_86246.html

  57. Mark Says:

I really thought I saw a African American lady with one of these on.

I sincerely apologize if that is incorrect.

One of the things I hate more than being in error is prejudice in every way!

I am not supporting becuase of his politics not because of the color of his skin.

I live near Chicago - one of the most divisive towns I’ve been around - and I hate that politics always seems to come down to race.

Dr. Kings dream will come one day - I hope!

  58. Miranda Says:

    “the forum ate my post”……………….LMAO

  59. DavidMac Says:

Alright John Brown, what makes Rendell an authority? Show me some of those facts you were talking about.

  60. Okori Says:

you have to come up with something better than John Brown. John Brown was a hero. Shaska was a joke wrapped in a cartoon made of a bad tuxedo and a top hat. Try again.

and that NBC news data appears to have gone straight into the internet ether.
Regarding Rendell: I think he knows what his state’s voting patterns are better than you do Shaska.

  61. DavidMac Says:

Nah John Brown was a cold blooded murder, for you to call him a hero shows how big of a self-hating white man you are.

Rendell talk is not a fact. Show me facts or just admit that is what you think.

NBC news data appears to …., what is that about?

  62. Okori Says:

Shaska John Brown was not a murderer. And really…. are you conflating me, someone who is DEBATING you, with someone you might think is a murderer?

And to the other things: they did do polling. i just am having trouble convincing the google to give me the link.

  63. DavidMac Says:

Yes I am putting you in the same category as John Brown, but not homocidal. The self-hate is there though.

I’ve seen no national poll where they have asked whether Obama’s race played a roll in their vote and the majority or near majority said yes.

  64. Miranda Says:

Good news!! The publisher of the Curious George books is NOT having it:
    http://www.ajc.com/metro/content/metro/cobb/stories/2008/05/13/mulligans_0514.html?cxntlid=homepage_tab_newstab

  65. thebrotherreport Says:

John Brown wasn’t a murderer he had a cause for which lives were lost. Which makes him a killer if anything. Killing is justifiable (self defense, war depending on the circumstances)

Murder is a crime against humanity for which there is no justification.

  66. DavidMac Says:

John Brown went on a rampage where he killed 5 innocent men in the middle of the night. He then killed a free black man, on his raid on harper’s ferry. The man was psychotic. He is not a hero.

  67. Temple3 Says:

    They’re just projecting.

  68. TheLastPoet Says:

Ok ok let’s not be driven off course (yet again) by the idiotic mumblings of Jolly Nigger Shaska. We know what to expect from him (nada). So why don’t the rest of us, those who are able to talk sensibly, huddle together to see what sense we can make of this?

The interesting thing about this incident is that it further drives a wedge between us and that homogenous entity known as the “white working class.” But then Okori, who is fam, comes along identifying himself as WWC and therein lies a problem for us.

On the one hand, we worry about the “idiots,” the “racists,” or the people whom Martin King once refered to as our “sick, white brothers” might do if Obama becomes the Demcratic nominee, or (gasp) if he actually becomes the next U.S. President. We single them out as individuals, or at most we say that they are a part of some small cadre of racists, all of whom live in small pockets of Indiana, Pennsylvania, Georgia, West Virginia, or Tennessee. Regardless of their numbers or the consistency of their thoughts and actions, we maintain that these individuals are dwarfed by the multitude of much more enlightened, tolerant Americans of every creed and hue. All of this may be true (or not); but ultimately it doesn’t matter because in thinking that racism is mainly a problem of the individual racists among us, we lose sight of its systemic nature.

Truth is, the white working class is not our enemy.

Remember Chuck D said, “This is what I mean by Anti-Nigger Machine” - emphasis on the word “Machine.”

Any society that uses race (as well as other phenomena) as an organizing principle for its civic institutions, i.e., any nation for which race and racism have been ongoing social practices in which everyone participates - either directly or indirectly -will forever produce results that can be classified as racist.

I’ll say it a third time: in a system where racism is the norm, the individual racist is not an abnormality, but rather an inevitability.

In any system like that, it is inevitable that t-shirts will portray a Black man as a monkey, that lil ol white ladies will fear the first Muslim President, etc. But the primary threat doesn’t come from insensitive t-shirts in Marietta or clueless hillbillies in West Virgina - it doesn’t even come from TSF’s very own brainwashed nigger we all love to hate, Jolly Nigger Shaska - all of these people are victims more than anything else. They believe in a myth, a lie. They believe it so strongly that they’ve turned the lie into the truth.

The lie itself, however, was generated, not by them, but by rulers and principalities that have a vested interested in maintaining systems of power. T-shirts, scapegoats, neocons, left wingers, fear, paranoia - these are all just side effects. It’s the system making sure it isn’t going anywhere by scaring enough of us into believing that it’s the best one available, you know, “land of the free” and all that bull.

Rulers and principalities that maintain systems of power via intimidation, fear, and violence - that should draw our ire more than anything else. It is a system that can and will take down Obama - if he ever gives them a reason - as cleanly as it did Sean Bell. Yes, I said it.

It wasn’t just a few rogue cops in particular, or police brutality against Blacks in general that took out Sean Bell. It was a court system, backed by government and corporate interests who essentially congratulated the policemen for a job well done. Indeed, you can hardly punish someone for doing what you’ve asked them to do - for doing what the machine has been built to do.

That’s what we should be mad about! Do you see my point?

Fuck a t-shirt. There’ll be a million more before we all die, which will give us a million more reasons to get mad at individual whitefolk (and their black lackeys), while letting the real culprit off the hook.

Think about it. Last week New Yorkers took to the street crying “We are all Sean Bell.”

    That’s true.

We are all Barack Obama, too.

And we’ll get taken out in the exact same way, so long as we stay focused on distractions, outcomes, and side effects, rather than drawing our attention to the beast itself which sustains them.

  69. Okori Says:

woot! i’m family. *waits till Last Poet’s head is turned and then steals the last cookie off the tray, like EVERYONE’S brother did*

to the point you made Poet…. there is a difference between people who don’t know and people who don’t care to know. Those who don’t know can have the trouble explained to them and it will become clear. People who don’t care to know will go on being backwards racist sorts with no desire to improve this world.

And those who don’t care to know need to be treated like we treat Shaska…. ignored, left to stew in their own insipid comments, for eternity. Until you catch a clue we will stop listening to you.

  70. DavidMac Says:

I want to know first off, what makes Obama special to you TLP.

    Why are “we” all Obama?
What really is different about Obama?
What change will he bring, besides being black?

What is the difference between half of the people on this board who only vote for Obama because he is black than the “evil, racist whites” who will not vote for him because he is black?

I mean for some of you all who support Obama, what policy does he promote that you support, besides the typical raise taxes to distribute wealth, slogan that all democrats support (Hilary too)?

  71. Miranda Says:

I must have missed a memo or announcement at the weekly Field Negros meeting because I didn’t know we were only voting for Barack Obama because he was black…actually, I must have missed the meeting about who we were voting for at all…
Whew!! Well, its a relief that I picked right in the primary! That was close! I better make sure I make all the meetings from now on…wouldn’t want to screw up and vote the wrong way, or buy the wrong book or take the wrong side of a police shooting or something “black like that”.

  72. DavidMac Says:

Nice side stepping, but why to you be courageous and step up to the plate and take a swing Miranda. I think you are better than your reply.

  73. Mizzo Says:

Damn Poet….you kick the ball on the roof during recess every single time…another home run bruh…

MSNBC was on (Edwards endorsing Barack) when I woke from a nap yesterday after hearing some bad news. Buchanan was on speaking his hate and exclaiming that Hillary was some sort of underdog now. He said we have to deal with the fact that some people aren’t gonna change and that’s it. The moderators were trying to get this cat to understand that it’s time to get out from under what has held us all back for 400 years. Dude was not budging. I understand, but why the eff is this cat allowed to be on TV again?

  74. Miranda Says:

    Mizzo,
I saw it too….I honestly thought Buchanan was gonna have a stroke the way he was screaming and carrying on (as my mama would say…lol). I never really watched Chris Matthews, never really cared for him, but yesterday I’ll give him credit…the look on his face was “you one ignit sob”…..Buchanan had clearly lost his mind…..I guess that dagger Edwards thru went straight to the heart….all the while Obama sitting there thinking “nice aim”

  75. Mizzo Says:

Sho’ Nuff. As long as PAMF (yeah it’s an expletive) like Buchanan are allowed to make money we will never progress to an objective society.

If life was a cartoon I would have wrung his turkey neck through the screen.

    Gobble gobble mufucka gobble gobble…

    Edwards hurt em yesterday.

    Whose the veep though?

  76. DavidMac Says:

Pat Buchanan isn’t holding soceity back, people like him (politically) helped make this country the great nation that it is today. Pat wasn’t surprised about Hilary being the underdog either, if you read his column on human events he along with everyone else knew Obama had the nomination wrapped up.

  77. Okori Says:

if I was Obama I’d make Richardson the veep. That dude is SERIOUS. anyone who can negotiate in Bosnia successfully is a tough guy, plus he was the secretary of energy.

  78. Miranda Says:

    Mizzo,
LOL….and ya know what’s sad?? Buchanan called the WV voters all kinds of ignorant..right to their face…..he thought he was being complimentary…LOL….that’s what tickled me. The look on Chris Matthews face was priceless. He looked like “WTF?”….LOL

Edwards is looking like the Attorney General to me. I don’t know who Obama will choose for VP…that will be interesting.
I do know I’d like to see Donna Brazile as his Chief of Staff.

  79. Miranda Says:

    Okori,
That was my personal favorite for VP….my dad said “we ain’t ready for it”…as in, two minorities might be pushing it. Sad, but probably true.

  80. Okori Says:

    Miranda,

    Kosovo= Eastern European Darfur.

  81. DavidMac Says:

Kosovo is no where close to being a East Europe Darfur. That is foolish.

  82. Okori Says:

You are right Shaska. Kosovo isn’t an Eastern European Darfur. Because, unliuke the conservative movement that you claim to represent, the government actually did something in Kosovo. Military forces actually toppled a true dictator, not one who was a straw man living on past fears. UN aid came in to help those people get their lives back. And the ones who came to this country are now living productive lives. That’s right Shaska. Kosovo’s nothing like Darfur.

Because America knew what was happening, and cared to stop it. See Shaska you are a joke, a shucking and jiving egg-sucking dog whose entire being is built around being contrary, jolly, and above all else STUPID. I helped 5 families of immigrants from Bosnia find work, school, and a place to stay. And in the eyes of their daughters, and the mothers, i saw answers to questions that I didn’t have to ask. So do not presume to tell me that Kosovo wasn’t Darfur. It isn’t because you, the president you swear fealty to, and the movement whose altar your worship at long ago decided that it would be better to chase a straw man, and conjure a ghost, than to help actual people.

And if you want to do anything to actually HELP people, instead of staying behind your computer shoveling Little Debbie Devil Squares into your mouth and talking shit about Obama and foreigners, how about you go out, find some people who need a second chance, and give them one?

Until then shut your mouth. Because all you are Shaska is a joke. And it’s not even a funny joke anymore.

  83. TheLastPoet Says:

“And in the eyes of their daughtera, and the mothers, I saw answers to questions I didn’t have to ask.”

Okori, I didn’t know you had it in you! That was profound. Do you mind if I borrow it sometime?

    Respect

  84. TheLastPoet Says:

    Oh yeah, I almost forgot…

[Poet spies Okori with eyes in the back of his head and slaps his hand away from the last chocolate chip cookie!]

  85. Okori Says:

go right ahead. those memories will stay with me forever. I imagine right now, somewhere, there is a social worker who is dealing with a family from Darfur that got out. When they are done they will tell you the same thing.

  86. DavidMac Says:

Okori why don’t you just go ahead and call me a nigger? LOL. I know you want to. Stop hating white people so much JB.

Bosnia wasn’t saved by Bush or Conservatives, that was Clinton, and I and a lot of conservatives didn’t and don’t support US intervention in the situation that European men should have been handling.

As for you experiance with Bosnians, how touching, I hope they are doing better now, but like I corrected you, it is no where close to being Darfur.

  87. Okori Says:

Shaska you know nothing about me. And I don’t want to call you the N-Word Shaska. it’s a word I despise using. And for the record I’m half-white.

No Bosnia was thrown on the fire by Conservatives, and it was NATO and the UN who saved it with the help of Clinton.

But you know what… I’m not wasting breath on you Shaska. Try with someone else.

  88. DavidMac Says:

You’ll believe what you want, Clinton got the US involved with it and that was the only point I made. Conservatives did nothing to hurt or help Bosnia because it isn’t our responsiblity, the same for Sudan.

Keep on fighting JB, one day you will get them all. LOL
