The future of L.A. Gotta rep her until the end of days

Baby girl does it again. Candace Parker tosses in a career high 40 points, has 16 rebounds, drops 6 dimes and turns back 5 shots to lead the Los Angeles Sparks to a 82-74 overtime victory against the rival Houston Comets.Let your mind transition the game into the beauty that it is.

I’ll post this, but…

Is it all about throw downs and holler putback bangers?

Do you want to see a quadruple double done by a very talented woman?

Candace will be MVP and Rookie of the Year in the same season. A season where the Sparks are capable of winning it all.

I say they do it. With all their talent, it’s not really going out on a limb. Don’t sleep on LL.

Trust me it most likely will happen this season.

Candace Parker can learn ya a lot about the game.

Be Peace and let her show you what’s really love.

I can readily admit that when Candace first came on the scene, i was preoccupied with her looks, not her game. Now that she’s putting up Shaq-in-his-prime numbers, I can appreciate her game…but damn she’s fine.

I wonder how Lisa Leslie is feeling about all this..

  2. Hasani Says:

Nobody gives a shit about the heavily subsidized WNBA. Any man who bothers to write about it is obviously sucking up and phonily trying to appear like an open minded individual.

    What’s up DavidMac?

  4. Miranda Says:

    Candace is the TRUTH.

  5. Mizzo Says:

Phonily lol wtf. Get out of here with that bullshit. You couldn’t pull a dime with ya daddy’s benjamin.

  6. Mizzo Says:

I’ve spoken to Lisa on a couple of occasions Rashad. She’s all about the advancement of the woman’s game. She has been waiting for a player like Candace…so trust this is a dream come true for her.

  7. sankofa Says:

actually Mizzo, TBR got it right, the lawn jockey is back!

  8. Mizzo Says:

I don’t know. It’s possible but the email addys don’t line up. Maybe DMac is head of some Internet trollscum organization that supplies crates of donuts, warm sour milk and bibs with IT (internet troll) inscribed to propagate better team morale.

    DMac wipe ya face kid.

    Lawn Jockey! LMAO!

His bashing of the WNBA was a dead giveaway.

  10. thebrotherreport Says:

Mizzo, it’s him. Then he comes through with the fake ass Islamic handle “Hasani” GTFOH.

  11. sankofa Says:

change the name, change the address, can’t change the hate!

  12. TheLastPoet Says:

Whoever it is, it’s not the “real” Hasani. The “real” Hasani (although displaying an uncomfrtable tendency toward reactionary neocon shill), in the past, has shown a better grasp of grammar and sentence structure, and so he would not have included a word like “phonily” in his comment.

So, yeah, using fake words in a poor attempt to sound intelligent is certainly something Jolly Nigger Dave would do.

The real question is, however, if it’s really him, why would he come back? Why can’t he stay away? He suffers nothing but abuse and ridicule here. It’s like Malcolm X showing up at a Klan meeting, why would he willingly suffer such abuse? Unless… he actually…. likes it…?

Anyway, don’t let that cat ruin our appreciation of a great game by a great player. Sadly, it doesn’t seem as though the League/MSM is doing enough to upload this talented woman into the national consciousness. I mean, if they could turn a dud like Michelle Wie into a star not too long ago, then they should be able to do something similar with Parker, especially since she happens to be the real deal.

Finally, I got courtside seats at the Garden to see Ms Leslie and Ms Parker (in that order) in a couple weeks. I’m taking my daughter, and, yes, I’m definitely looking forward to it. Great players usually play great at the the mecca of hoops, and so I hope these ladies do something special.
