Who Is the Racist?

Is Jay Smooth of the Underground Railroad correct here?

I posted Reef the Lost Cauze a little while ago of the same show.

This is what White folk need to understand. When we call you out, it’s because we have analyzed your words inside and out in a split second. That’s what we do. We shouldn’t have to write a disclaimer every time we write something for folks to understand.

Either you get it or you don’t.

We can talk if you come here in civil fashion, but when you get all heated saying this and saying bs that, you are the exact person we speak of so maybe you should judge yourself accordingly.

Thanks to Richard Prince of the Maynard Institute for posting this. The site is very informative, so don’t sleep.

  1. The Most Known Unknown Says:

Very well put. This is a great strategy for dealing with racist words and actions.

  2. Boney Says:

I think the racist is Bill Parcells and Eric Mangini because Byron Leftwich is a free agent and Pennington was signed by Parcells and Favre was acquired by Mangini without Leftwich getting a fair shake.

  3. origin Says:

Wow Boney you been touchy the last few days.

Ever since I called you out about team USA. You O.K. there fella???

  4. Okori Says:

to answer your question Mizzo: yes he is. It is a lot better approach to judge on what a person does and says than on what you think they are.

And Boney: Maybe Eric Mangini and Bill Parcells don’t think Byron Leftwich is worth signing. And really would you sign Byron Leftwich over Brett Favre? Seriously? You would?

  5. Mizzo Says:

Okori please don’t do that cat. You know damn well Byron Leftwich is an NFL quarterback. Hell Miami just signed his Marshall mate to a 2 year deal. What does that say?

Boney you need Miranda and Michelle to write a bp med prescription?

    Thanks for your opinion though…

  6. Okori Says:

I didn’t say I didn’t think he was an NFL quarterback. I just am not about to dog Eric Mangini for thinking Brett Favre is better. Chad Pennington is an interesting argument, although Parcells having drafted him when he was with the Jets probably is the reason for that. If I was Byron i’d try and get to Minnesota. That situation cries out for someone with his unique skills. He also got rooked by a coaching change in the middle of a season with a whole new playbook to try and pick up.

  7. boney Says:

    Origin,

I don’t respond when people try to tell me I’m something that I’m not. It saves time to just let it go.

    Mizzo,

why would I need a prescription?

  8. boney Says:

and how is me wanting Byron Leftwich go get a fair shake me being “touchy” any way?

I’m not allowed to ask why Leftwich couldn’t get a shot but Miami signed Pennington 15 minutes after he was released by the Jets?

I figured I’d ask rather than do what some people do, assume.

  9. Mizzo Says:

Boney only joking. You are correct in asking that question. I’ve wondered that myself as well. Just doesn’t make sense.

Byron Leftwich has won more games than he has lost and has big time heart. What is going on?

  10. Okori Says:

i don’t know. maybe there are concerns about his arm strength, or susceptibility to injury. But it is odd that he hasn’t gotten a fair chance at a starting job since he was released by Jacksonviile.

  11. GrandNubian Says:

Leftwich was signed by Pittsburgh due to Charlie Batch getting injured.

  12. Mizzo Says:

It’s about time. Dennis Dixon should learn alot.

  13. Kwaku Says:

Well, if you really care more about what people “do” than what they “are” then you’d cease all these nonsensical accusations regarding Byron Leftwich immediately. Why? Because all that these NFL teams have “done” is chosen alternative quarterback options. That’s not racist. To suggest so is pure speculation on your parts (yeah you, boney), not based on any facts whatsoever. If some team said “We will not sign Byron Leftwich because we don’t want a black quarterback,” then you would have a case based on something racist that was actually DONE. Get it yet? In other words, some of you posters here are complete hypocrites. All hot wind and lofty claims of sticking to the facts, but not really doing so at all when it comes to your typically specious accusations of racism.
