"Here My Dear" documents Marvin's marriage and divorce from Anna Gordy and when you listen to the ebb and flow of this album you will be amazed too. And I quess Marvin did get Anna back because this was her divorce settlement. P.S. Anna filed a lawsuit after the album's release and it was slammed for being sexist, and nasty but 30 years later it is a masterwork and in many critics opinions his best album. The urgency of the lyrics, the perfectly layered backgrond vocals, and the instrumentation are just superb. I could play that song over and over.
