Andre Iguodala Resigns With Sixers
Could the Sixers have three players on the All Star Team next season?
Will Andre Iguodala become the superstar his vast athletic potential shows he could be?
Woooooow! At least one team in Philly gets it.
In a move that will ultimately define Ed Stefanski’s tenure as Sixers General Manager, Stefanski took no shorts and gave Andre Igodala more what he wanted. The deal, which is not yet confirmed, calls for Iggy to make 80 million over 6 years. I thought all summer that if they didn’t re-up Andre then all the previous moves really meant nothing.
Now this is what I’m talking about: In a little over a month, the Sixers have signed Elton Brand, Kareem Rush, Royal Ivey and resigned both Andre Iguodala and Louis Williams.
This is the best Sixers off season in 25 years.
There will be critics who claim that Iggy isn’t worth it because Tayshaun shut him down during the playoff lost to Detroit. There will also be critics who claim that the Sixers are shoveling out too much cash, but ever since the Celtics put up or shut up, it’s time for the Sixers to do the same.
Uh…when does the season start? I’m going out on a limb right now and say that the Sixers finish second in the conference behind Boston.
What?

I know Josh smith wishes there was an out clause in that contract he signed…
Sixers lookin’ niiiiiiiice for a while. Remember all those critics of Billy King’s a couple years ago? Ain’t hearin’ much from ‘em now…….
