Richard Pryor, hands down.......

The man was ahead of his time. There are many imitators but only one originator and that's Pryor.

My all-time favorite comedians are Chris Rock, Chris Tucker, Paul Mooney, Bernie Mac, Robin Harris (would've blown up like Bernie Mac had he lived), Eddie Murphy, Rodney Dangerfield, Martin Lawrence, and Bill Cosby. Though I admire and respect Richard Pryor's legacy, he's not one of my all-time favorites. Paul Mooney's like an angrier version of Chris Rock. Speaks truth with no chaser.

I used to listen to Robin Harris in middle school. Man he was SO funny...and one day while reading the Autobiography of Malcolm X, I discovered that Redd Foxx and Detroit Red were good friends.
