The Starting Five

As we enter the home stretch to all this craziness Barack Obama is looking more and more like the POTUS. He’s weathered the McCain/Palin storm–at least for the time being–and most polls (yeah I know) have Barack winning handily last night. I still think Barack needs to drive home some points but for the most part did what he had to do last night to lock this up. John McCain looked a little old–and it wasn’t about age. Dude looked like a pitcher who tossed the rosin bag on the mound one too many times and Barack was smooth, stealth and looked like the incumbent. You can now see a definitive gap in who should be President. The closing bell on Wall Street didn’t help John McCain so ultimately Barack didn’t have to do much…

First ever outdoor contest

TNT, home of exclusive Thursday night NBA doubleheaders throughout the regular season, announced today that NBA legends Charles Barkley and Reggie Miller, alongside veteran play-by-play announcer Marv Albert, will serve as game-side announcers for the “AutoTrader.com Open” outdoor preseason game on Sat., Oct. 11 featuring the Phoenix Suns vs. the Denver Nuggets from the Indian Wells Tennis Garden in Indian Wells, CA.  The landmark game, the first ever outdoor NBA match-up to be played in the U.S., will be televised exclusively on TNT and marks the first time that the three basketball icons have been teamed together for a national broadcast.
