Adversity and media scrutiny have a way of galvanizing a team. I don't know what to think about ATL yet. The entire situation makes my stomach hurt.

Miranda:

22/30 - 301 yards - 1 TD, ZERO interceptions.

What's wrong with that? The media may be ready to ride the Ryan Express, but he's not bad. The Falcons entire system is predicated on the ability to run - Mike Smith knows that...so does Turner. That's why he ran 25 times yesterday for 54 yards. They stuck with the run and kept the Bears honest in the passing game.

Who knows where the Falcons would be if they hadn't wasted a draft pick on Michael Jenkins. Maybe if he didn't catch that 4th down pass from Krenzel at Ohio State. I bet Algernon Darius wouldn't mind playing with this squad.

It's way too early to give the seal of approval to Ryan, but he looks like he understands what is going on. That's half the battle.

Sista Miranda these bigots just rewrite sh&% as a they go along. Anything to not give black folks credit.

I see on the message boards crap like wow Ryan is so good he calls audibles at the line of scrimmage Vick could never do that.

Big Deal.

Wake me up win that boy goes to the NFC championship game.
Even with all that talent Ryan will certainly have, I bet they still won't go to the NFC Championship in the next 10 years.

Trust me the Falcons ain't going no where for years!!!

That division is the saints to lose for the next 4 or 5 years atleast.

Their @ss will be like Philly was after Cunningham. Until DMac came.

Oh and them BS hits on golden boy Ryan is a joke. Mcnabb been hit late for years and I still can't remember a dude getting fined for hitting him late.

They just making sure Poppa Home depot is able to fill that stadium up halfway during home games. Just making them competitive nothing more nothing less.

ATL is officially a Hawks town now. Cause they gonna be the only folks there going to the playoffs anytime soon.

Its the crappy 80s again for the Falcons.

You know this reminds me of the Debate with those ignorant fans in NO who swear that the team is doing so much better since they got drew brees (now don't get me wrong he is a better QB then Aaron Brooks). But if he doesn't lead the saints to the playoffs and a playoff win. He has in 3 years lead the saints to as many playoff wins as Aaron Brooks (1 playoff win).

I swear Origin, let some of these clowns tell it, this is the exact same Falcons team just a different QB and he makes all the difference....oh its the same sorry O-line, same sorry azz play-calling (but its not why Oakland is sorry, thats just JRussell's fault - not Gregg Knapp)....I promise you, as one of my friends just said, they MAKE us have to hate the damn Falcons. That's ok though.....at 6:15pm after that win, the streets were clear....no celebrating, no into-the-night tailgating.....3 years ago, you couldn't drag folks from the Dome before about 10pm - they'd be too crunk...now...."these" fans go straight home. How cute.

What happened to the Cowboys???? What a wacky NFL week!

Sorry about that Mizzo I was wrong about the eagles today cause after the first 5 minutes of the 3rd it looked like the team was on their hills.

J. Parker, the defense, Mcnabb and Buckhalter stepped up big time.

My Bucs trounced the Panthers with a smothering defense and an efficent offense and we did something no other team did and that's totally shut down their running game and Jeff Garcia is back at the helm.

Maybe time to put a fork in the eagles looks lik ethey are done.

Hopefully they will do the right thing and let Mcnabb finish out the season if they are gonna cut him.

I hated how Randall finished his last season in Philly on the bench. Then they brought him out the last game of the season.

That was straight garbage.

Oh and Miranda don't feel bad whne my boy Mcnabb leaves Philly watch the eagles go darft Kolb some RBs in the first round and sign him 2 All-pro WRs in free agency.

The more things change the more they stay the same.

I hear yoiu miranda. Lord I hate you have to hear that mess for the rest of the season.

Realize its the bears who are like the midwest version of the eagles. If there is something needed to throw the game. They will find a way at times. Think about it whats the difference between the eagles and bears since the creation of the superbowl??? 1 superbowl win. Thats it the teams are pretty similiar in every aspect except they have actually have had QBs over the last 30 years.

Listen if Lovie doesn't make the playoffs this year he will be toast like Marvin Lewis. Its a lot of good ole boys back home in chicago and they been asking for Lovie's head since last year.

Also Mizzo I had been thinking that the last 2 or 3 years that Andy was trying to get Mcnabb hurt or killed. No wI am starting to think he wants to get Mcnabb hurt or killed and lose as many games as possible that Mcnabb is starting in.

I mean akers for a 53 yard field goal.

Andy gets dumber by the day.

Did the Bears just do that?? Since 3 different guys on 3 different teams have been fined for hitting Ryan, could it be they're all scared to go after him??

Now here comes the "Ryan carried the team on his back" rhetoric for a good week...because when you actually draft a offensive lineman in the FIRST round as opposed to just other teams waived player, have two backs like Turner and Norwood, and a go to receiver who by his own admission he really put in the work on his game the offseason AFTER his second year, and a offensive coordinator who can actually call a game to fit every offensive players skills - yeah...that means the QB carried the team on his back.
