See what self- defense does for you, those criminals won’t ever mess with beauty school or those sistas anymore. Dude got waht he deserved you don’t mess with sistas getting their hair done or in a beauty shop. Homeboy should have gone to the mall and robbed the upscale ones.
Eric — an eye for an eye leaves everybody blind. Quit trying to stir up a call to violence. The kind of stuff you’re responding to could be used as a call to arms by any ethnic group, each of which could cite incidents of violence perpetrated by any other group, whatever suits their rhetoric. In fact, the kind of emotional appeals you guys are using on this site is of the type that klansmen would use to stir up hatred against us. Cite a newspaper article in which some white person was assaulted by a black person, suggest that there is a coordinated effort to eliminate their race, make a plea for “self defense” and violent confrontation if necessary, instill absurd amounts of paranoia, etc.
Right out of the republican playbook Eric. Unwittingly, guys like you are tools of the conservative machine in this country, which is among the many reasons why I denounce your absurd violent fantasies (launched right out of the cozy comforts of your living room).
2 things are garaunteed when a man walks into a beauty shop
1.) you’ll get a dirty look (sometimes just as a decoy)
2.) you’ll get talked about when you leave

Well Dredded One pretty much summed it up…..the beauty shop is like the Fifth Realm…..its like the planet Krypton…I shiver to think if a sistah had just finished twirling around in that chair with the mirror to check out the back of her fresh do….the police would have had to scrape her off him.
Homes Should have gone to the mall that beauty shop/school looked like that was in a rough area. That table leg in the video was hillarous. I know he’s embrassed and there’s no way he could back in that neighborhood without being clowned.

Given that context, I didn’t find what Eric said funny at all and really am not all that sure he was joking anyway.

I hope you aren’t FBI, CIA, HIV, GOP, NAAWP OR NAMBLA because you love white people so much I am thinking you are one of them, I don’t know anyone named Dajon and who would name anybody after mustard?
Mizzo, I thought it was funny watching those sistas doing what I think everyday people should do to keep their neighborhoods free of crime and criminals. If more African- Americans in little ways do those small things our neighborhoods would not be the killing fields they are. And frankly the day for speeches, synposiums and marches to quote John Henrik Clarke “Is a waste of shoe leather”,It’s funny that those sistas in the beauty shop showed more bravery, guts and tenacity in beating back a robber than waiting for Johnny Law.
Eric — ANYONE could use the same rationale you employ to keep their neighborhoods “safe” (i.e. everyone arms themselves). The theory of mutually assured destruction may have some merit when it comes to nuclear weapons (though I doubt it), but not when it comes to guns on every street in every household. I just don’t think you’ve thought through the logical consequences of your NRA style cheerleading.
