Couldn't get a hold of Derrick, but I asked someone close to him if what you state above is true and I was told he's not wearing ankle weights. What he's wearing is a special made brace to prohibit ankle injuries. Derrick has had a ankle problems since he's been at Memphis. Thanks for your comment.
