Sources Say Alex Rodriguez Tested Positive For Steroids In 2003

Does this really surprise you?  I mean what’s next, coaches and managers are gonna test positive? I think if anything, this exonerates Bonds as being the face of the steroid era.

The question is, how many people did MLB and the media turn against Barry and is the affect irreparable? It’s ironic how most fans turned a blind eye to ARod’s performance as Bonds approval rating fell off the likes of Bush’s.

If you recall, pundits were drooling all over themselves to proclaim Alex the next king. Full disclosure: I’m a Yankee fan who has never been crazy about ARod. He is immensely talented, but comes up small when the kiddies in the stands are cheering the most.

I’m not hatin’ on the brotha but since the Yankees traded Alfonso Soriano for Rodriguez, they haven’t won jack. Does anyone but me remember the clutch bombs Soriano hit when he was still a kid? Ok, ok, this wasn’t intended to be a rant, but c’mon man. Put up or shut up. I’m not madatcha for steroids because everyone probably juiced because of ridiculous pressure to perform, but use this as inspiration to have that Bonds like season everyone has proclaimed you capable of or be peace…

Man, all these fools are talking about how nobody suspected A-Fraud of taking ‘roids and anybody who did is lying, but they are just blind to the facts and pick and choose who they want to suspect. I’ve been saying for years that A-Rod was on the ‘roids, since he’s been connected to Canseco for years now even before he was with the Yankees. He needs to embrace his role as the bad guy now or else he’s gonna struggle big time. Things just keep piling up for this guy, he can’t stay away from the drama. I can’t wait for the A-Fraud chants at the Stadium.

I want to interview this cat just to see how he ticks.

  3. antone says:

Good luck with that…I don’t think A-Rod will be doing any interviews for the rest of his career haha

  4. Matthew Fudge says:

He had the clean-cut, Dominican Will Smith thing going on. That’s why people wanted to believe he wasn’t juicing.

Look, he’s never gonna be beloved like Jeter or DiMaggio. He’s gonna be looked at as a merc just like Reggie was in the late ’70s (further proof that I’m getting old). Embrace who you are, hit 50 homers next season, do your part to get the Yanks in the World Series, and don’t give a rat hair what anybody thinks. The hypocrisy’s thick, A-Rod. Quit trying to be liked and do you.

Don’t think he’ll be doing an encore on “60 Minutes” either. Somewhere Canseco’s just nodding his head. I don’t even think he feels vindicated (pardon the pun) at this point. Chickens indeed do come home.

    Et tu A-Rod?

  9. Origin says:

Like I told fools that d@mn Jose Consecco was telling the truth.

Shoot thats why congress kept hsi but out last year. He was gonna say something then.

Too bad Roger Clemmons is Jose’s boy. Cause we know Jose got some dirt on him too.

  10. Matthew Fudge says:

And Joe Torre was the worst person in the world for calling him “A-Fraud”.

  11. Matthew Fudge says:

All he needs to do is shut up, produce, and keep the soap-opera stuff in-house. Wishful thinking, huh?

  12. 19082008 says:

I like the “clean-cut Dominican Will Smith” descriptor of A-Rod. And I do agree that he just needs to zip it, hit his 50 jonrones and get the Yankees to the Series. Of course, it remains to be seen if all that money equals results.

I wish he’d take them in the playoffs!
