Michael Vick is a P.O.S. who happens to have a skill. It’s pretty typical of what’s perpetuated in the sports industry here in the US.

Myself and plenty of others would have no qualms about putting a baseball bat to the head of anyone that would hang or drown a dog; Michael Vick or not……..

Jay Cutler is a prima donna, a Ryan Leaf-type. He has some talent, but he played at Vanderbilt and set a few TEAM records, but NEVER led his team to even a bowl game in college.

To me he is over-rated with an attitude.

Cutler’s record as a starter: 17-20…but he throws ‘pretty’ passes and acts like Brett ..oh yeah, NO PLAYOFFS!

Matt Leinart’s record as a starter: 7-9… but throws ‘pretty’ passes and he is 6’5 and looks like Montana..oh yeah, NO PLAYOFFS–even with Anquan, Fitz and Edge..

Vince Young’s record as a starter: 18-11… criticized constantly, mismatched with VY hater Norm Chow, has no WRs but still managed to win Rookie of the Year and take his team to the playoffs

Well, Cutler definitely has an attitude and after three years, he hasn’t led the Broncos to the playoffs…yet he isn’t on the ‘hot seat’..

Last season, he had made some Broncos’ fans mad when he said the following:

“I have a stronger arm than John Elway, hands down. I’ll bet on it against anybody’s in the league. Brett Favre’s got a cannon. But on game days, there’s nobody in the league who’s going to throw it harder than I am at all.”

Now ‘Angry’ Jay doesn’t want to talk to Denver management. IF THIS WAS VICK, VINCE,TARVARIS, DUANTE, or ANY BLACK QB, THIS WOULD BE ONE OF THE NUMBER ONE SPORTS STORIES…

But its ‘Jay being Jay’ and no big deal–just letting off steam..

I don’t make it a habit of reading McCaffery in particular but when I go on PE.com I read columns that may interest me. This one I already knew what to expect when I read the title but this guy got me because I didn’t expect him to go all revisionist history on me. This article was plain and simple a hit piece because I thought I was reading something from a poster on the messageboard than a so-called journalist.

This is just like why we watch PTI or Around the Horn because sometimes we just like to let the junk in and let the blood pressure rise.

Jack McCaffery is a joke, and his columns are crap..

McCaffery’s columns do speak to a ‘mainstream’ point of view and McNabb understands the contempt and venom that come from these Rush Limbaugh-type sports columnists.

“There’s not that many African-American quarterbacks, so we have to do a little bit extra,” McNabb tells HBO. “Because the percentage of us playing this position, which people didn’t want us to play … is low, so we do a little extra.”

“Every year I’m part of some criticism,” McNabb tells HBO. “But every day that we go through life, you’re faced with a lot of adversity. Now the answer is how do you handle the adversity. How do you respond?

“I try to handle myself with class. I try to handle myself with dignity. I think sometimes people look to players to act out, speak loudly, pretty much be an idiot. But that’s not me.”

McNabb has acquiesced his style of play over the years, but McNabb isn’t going to acquiesce anymore to the Eagles organization after giving them ten years.

Reid’s ‘stunt’ of pulling McNabb off the field hurt McNabb more deeply than he is currently willing to publicly admit.

McNabb’s stance, in my opinion, is if you don’t respect me enough to surround me with better players, then we can’t ‘extend’ this relationship..

He’s not gonna quit and just like Ric Flair, whether his detractors like or don’t like it, they better learn to love it because when he introduced at Lincoln Financial Field for the rest of his career, custom-made from head to foot, because it’s the best thing going in Philadelphia Eagles’ football history. Woooh!!!

Wow, just freakin’ wow. So for ten years McNabb has just been a high-priced luxury the Eagles could have done without and still accomplished what they have? An ultimate failure at QB? Wow, just freakin’ wow. I would get upset normally about something like this but McCaffery just completely blew me away with what he put into this article by its sheer stupidity that I need a beverage.
