Michael Phelps: They See Their Sons In The World I Know

How many kids in their twenties smoke marijuana? A lot of them do. They want to laugh and drink and chill with a bunch of their people and not think about anything else.

Seems like a right of passage…passage from young to old, stress to no stress.

Michael Phelps getting caught with a bong connected to his face really doesn’t mean anything to me. I could care less. Do what you do bruh. The problem is how the media will respond. Sponsors are already stuttering their support behind the Olympic world record holder.

Will they be kind or run his red, white and blue name through the mud? I’d expect if this was LeBron James or Terrelle Pryor you’d never hear the end of scrutiny until they were walking the perp walk hog tied and shackled. What do you think? Am I right?

Revenge of the 6th: With the Pittsburgh Steelers, it’s All About Patience

Damn, what a game! Sure must be a great time to be a Steeler fan. First, former Steeler great Rod Woodson is inducted into the Hall of Fame and then the current edition goes out and gets one for the thumb defeating the Arizona Cardinals 27-23 in Super Bowl 43. As pundits argue whether this was the best Super Bowl ever, or Big Ben should have been the MVP, or what was the greatest play, let’s step back and give respect where respect is due. The success this top rate organization has had over the years is not a fluke. If you do right by people, you will be rewarded. The Rooney family takes care of its own and now once again, they are champions. It’s that simple.
