Well T.O. got paid. 1 yr in this situation is a good deal. He will go to Buffalo, play hard and leave if he wants to after 1 season. I’d take it. He’s so strong. I think he still has a couple good years left in him.

I was listening to Drew Rosenhaus say that there were 3 or 4 teams who were interested. For some strange reason, I kinda believe him.

I look for him to do good next season. When T.O. makes his transition to a new team, he always have a good first year. I think he’ll have around 80 catches, 1200 yards and 11 TDs.

Yeah GN, according to Kornheiser on PTI, there were 30 NFL teams who didn’t want TO. Guess Buffalo was one of the two that did. Don’t know how this signing will work for the Bills’ W-L but Ralph Wilson is the definition of crotchety so it’ll be interesting to see how he and Owens get along.

Yep, its been crystal clear that there was a fix in on Troy Vincent from the beginning. There have been these strange leaks and rumors put out about him from “sources” and I swear, if he is not elected the NFLPA chief then the players deserve whatever pimping they get from the owners and Goodell because it makes NO DAMN SENSE for the union to be manipulated this way and its OBVIOUS.

Anyway TO signs with the bills one year 6.5 million. This is probably his last stop at 35 (will be 36 in Dec). I’m happy for the dude to be able to get a contract and that was smart of him to go to buffalo. There is less media there. Only beef I have is that no black QB was able to get him…..typical NFL. Dang not even David Garrard another year of throwing passes to a busta crack head WR. Oh well thats how it goes in the NFL.

Yeap exactly Miranda you know the fix is in. Everyone and their momma knew that Troy Vincent was the next dude in line to take upshaw’s position.

See Goodell and the owners know that Vincent isn’t going to play all nice with them like upshaw. And don’t be surprised if the league giving upshaw’s wife some of her husbands pension kick backs. Cause if the league can pull strings to not pay hundreds of veterens their pension they can do the same to Ms. Upshaw.

Origin: That has TO made it as far as he’s had suggests that his outbursts might be due to some adult onset disorder. I doubt if an a** whuppin’ would help and, I think that Ray would have gotten him bounced really quickly when it wouldn’t have worked.

TO’s behavior had me re-thinking his alleged “accidental overdose (suicide attempt)”. I think that the league should step in and treat his behavior as an illness and preclude him from playing sans treatment. His extreme behavior should not be the responsibility of other players beyond what’s normally reasonable. While I’m no doctor, the problem to me seems to be that we live in a society that doesn’t want to really confront mental illness because it’s scary.
