Stop it Mizzo, Right now I say. I’m sure dude is nice but Ty Lawson, Patty Mills, and MY BOY Jeff Teague are reeeeeaaaalllly nice. First PG taken? Come on man.

  2. Mizzo Says:

They are all BEASTS but I dig Maynor’s 4 year experience under Grant. He’s a sick coach.

It’s the package bruh. Watch Eric in this tournament. Watch im….

That Wade buzz beater was simply amazing. But it still doesn’t top Devin Harris’ from a few weeks back. That was just sick.

If Wade plays defense he’s in the Kobe/Lebron debate. I know people will likely disagree, but he’s in that discussion. I will admit that he needs a big man to make everything work, though.

  4. Okori Says:

Darren Collison would like a word with you too, Mizzo. I know he doesn’t have the talent package of Maynor but damn…. what else does a guy have to do?

My order goes like this: Lawson, Collison, Maynor, Mills, Teague

  5. Mizzo Says:

I said that’s who I would pick. Coincidentally, Maynor is the only player I haven’t met but I just see something in the kid I don’t see in the others late in games. Maybe it’s the talent around him. I don’t know.

  6. Okori Says:

I think the fact that Lawson and Collison have talent around them is actually a positive.
However, and i think you will agree with me on this Miz, they ain’t getting picked #1 overall. That honor goes to Blake Griffin.

And in a small sidenote, unless I missed it, did ANYONE on this site say a word about the Sonics being taken from Seattle in the dead of night?

  7. Mizzo Says:

Okori you are the man. I have an interview with Gary Washburn of the Seattle PI coming up later today.

  8. Okori Says:

I’m not the man. Just a guy.

And i will be in the Illadelph from the 27th to the 29th.

Does Wade play defense? Do you mean 1-on-1 defense vs. passing lane defense?

As for the “big man” issue — I believe everyone needs a/several big man/men to make it work. Without talented bigs who can score around the rim, NO ONE gets rings. That’s what the addition of Joe Smith is all about in Cleveland…that’s what all the bunched panties in LA are about (Will that big man return??). Your bigs don’t have to be great, but they have to be able to finish above the rim — in traffic.

That’s the one rule for which I’ve never seen an exception.

  10. Okori Says:

And Jerold, I ain’t impressed by teague’s defense. I swear I look at him offensively and I see KJ. but i look at his defense and I see…… trouble.

  11. Okori Says:

And Mizz, you, I, and everyone forgot Brandon Jennings.

  12. Mizzo Says:

Yeah you are right about that.

Just in case any of you was going to watch the launch…it was scrapped. There’s a leak in the fuel line.

  13. Okori Says:

so then, Mr. Tillery, where does Jennings slot in? he has had a…. interesting…. year in Europe.
