LeBron said he had a tough back to back with Orlando tonight. DC was way too emotional all the way around to sustain focus.

Ok, so the Cavs are down 31.

We'll see if they can get some respect or if they spent too much quality time with Mizzo and get smoked by a cool Fiddy.

As I'm sitting here watching Orlando reap the benefits of a back-to-back vs. Cleveland, this interview only enhances my appreciation for what the Cavaliers are doing.

The team is young. The season is long. They are a unique collection of players. They're within striking distance and may not pull this one out, but they battle for everything they get.

Over the course of the season, I've really come to appreciate this team. I believe that if their "bigs" can score at home, they'll win it all. Varejao and Big Z have to score at home. Joe Smith can score in a phone booth. If the bigs don't score, they'll lose to whichever team is most physical with them -- Boston? Detroit? Orlando? They just need 4 solid games from their bigs in each series -- and that's going to be enough.

One thing that I'd say to the Cavs is to take a piece of free advice from former Steelers coach, Chuck Noll: HIT FIRST. The Cavaliers have to be the first team to deliver the blow. The playoffs are not about permission to deliver the blow -- it's about imposing your will. If they dare to be great, they will. I wish them luck.

(BTW: Always loved Joe Smith's game. Right player, wrong situations. May never get his due.)
