Just wanted to get a discussion going on quarterback rushing totals and why the numbers aren’t given much respect. When a quarterback scrambles for a first down, that doesn’t factor into the result? How about a qb sneak at the goal line late? Doesn’t have an affect on the game? Does running the ball actually hurt quarterbacks in respect to career perspective? I tell you what, you really learn to appreciate John Elway researching his stats.
