Kos

Please remember that Anti-African Hatred, just like hating on simple ass things as ethnicity ranges from border line to full blown mental health crisis. Top that off with severe inferiority complex and you have all kinds of projections happening by from these people on to African women and African people.

Once we over stand the disease White Supremacy, then it becomes clear that sacred cows like being the head puppet in charge of a dying empire is not exclusive to them based on their connection. Since "image is everything", Caucasians in America Inc. now have to contend with the visible darkening of their most sacred of cows.

But the still have their brand of Christian-insanity.

Mizzo

I do not agree with the parents and children reaching out to these dogs. I prefer the old testament rule of an eye for an eye. And if you can't pluck that eye out today... wait for the opportunity. I have lived long enough and experienced enough to take the stance that if it comes to my survival and years...fuck you!

We need to teach our children to be less passive and consilatory, this is where adults fail them. Teach them NEVER FORGET! (where have I heard that before?)

Now I'm not saying go up in there like Nat Turner in thios instance, but take their money, take their homes, clothe, car, take their lively hood, their soul.

Some ay say this is too extreme, but doom on you, it damn sure makes it even.

Miranda I didn't report it because she was a friend. She actually set up the first event I covered...Bernard Hopkins retirement birthday party a couple of years back.

She was a great person. I had absolutely no clue about the other stuff.

RIP Rian Thal. Miss you girl.

Mizzo, have you been keeping up with this story up in Philly?
http://www.thedailybeast.com/blogs-and-stories/2009-07-10/how-a-rich-suburban-girl-became-a-drug-kingpin

I read that and I'm just now going back and looking at the news reports....this reminds me of the things Andy Reid's "kids" were saying when they got busted...trying to be all hood and whatnot.....this game is not for "kids".

As far as the club, I'm in total agreement with you. Something would have been handled on the spot but I definitely would have gave 'em some words of wisdom as I exited.

Yeah, I didn't link it because the site would put the post under review, put it back up, they take it down.

I will post one comment. "When is she going to get her first abortion?"

They only responded when a writer complained after doing research on conservatism.

I personally didn't think it was something out of the norm. We deal with it all the time. Sometimes I get weak and read the comments after an objectionable and polarizing piece only to click off the page because my family is pretty much sick of Nat Turner 2009. I gotta say some of the comments in moderation on the old TSF are straight crazy.

Wasn't a shock to me to see what some wrote about a Black child. Par for the course. It is what it is. Like I said above, they don't criticize their own and the anonymity of the net further feeds this insolence.

If I said anything about Flacco, I'd be echoing Kos.

T3 -

Flacco really was over-rated IMO. The running backs in Baltimore and Atlanta didn't get near enough credit last year for their teams' success. The running game would set the pace, and all Flacco had to do was make sure that he didn't mess up too bad and the defense could bail him out of alot of his mistakes. It would be interesting to see how Flacco improves for his second year. Derrick Mason was by far his best receiver. Without a go-to receiver, he might just fall apart.

I saw that about Malia Obama last night on Countdown. SMH I forget what web site that it was originally posted on. Folks are just pathetic. She's an eleven year old girl. Some of the comments that people had were predictable. I won't repeat them. But, if you know how some of the racists MF's on the 'net think about black women, then, you can guess. You'd wish that they could at least give the president's minor children a break, but even that seems to be too much to ask for from these sick f#%ks.

Mizzo:

I'm wondering how I would have reacted to that scenario -- on the spot. I'm certainly no integrationist, but I would have absolutely demanded some significant redress (immediately) for the hassle of dragging my ass to that pool. It would have cost someone financially -- particularly given the fact that my children would be there based on a CASH transaction permitting their participation.

I suspect that someone would have had to either pay a significant fee or drag me out of the pool while showing cause. I further suspect that I would be compelled to sue the club and whichever police officers participated in this on their behalf in any way, shape or form. I'd sue the individual officers and the department.

I don't believe that private clubs should be told whom to accept -- however, this was not a question of membership. This was a question of a private club (likely with diminishing revenues) seeking to expand their market. They entered into an agreement which they very likely did not have a legitimate reason to break (even within the terms of the contract). So, this error in judgment should cost them.
--------------------------------------------------------

If Derrick Mason really stays retired, does this mean that Marvin Harrison or Anquan Boldin could find a home in Baltimore? I wonder how much better of a QB Flacco might become if he had Marvin Harrison around to teach him about the game and reading defenses and creating timing with receivers? I wonder if Mark Clayton finally busts out?

I don't love Flacco. I don't know what the media was raving about when he was going 9-50 for 100 yards and 8 picks (mild overstatement) in those big games.

--------------------------------

Too bad the "hate speech" article didn't have links. I've missed that story.
