Hector “Macho” Camacho Jr fights for a title at Cleveland State’s Wolstein Center on August 29th

Hector “Macho”Camacho Jr. and Israel”Pito” Cardona discuss their Aug. 29th championship bout that will take place at Cleveland State’s Wolstein Center.

Cardona (36-9, 28 KO’s) said he will retire if he loses to Camacho Jr. (48-3-1, 27 KO’s). Camacho Jr., the son of a former champion, has won six straight fights.

The fight card also includes Cleveland natives Ronald Johnson, Mickey Bey and Aaron Williams.

    Damn, I remember when Junior was a rising star with considerable skills, but then he quit against an aging Jesse james Leija to pick up a cheap win on the scorecards. It was kind of downhill ever since. Skills without heart does not make a champion boxer. I’ll be rooting for his comeback
