The Starting Five 2009-2010 NFL Week 9 Picks

a-whoooo The Starting Five 2009-2010 NFL Week 9 Picks

DeSean Jackson is showing off. All of his touchdowns (6) are over 50 yards? That’s unheard of. How bad is he gonna be? Can he be stopped? If so, by who? I’m working the Eagles/Dallas game, so I can’t make a pick, but this should be a good match up considering both teams are beginning to turn the corner and sit at 5-2. This always intense rivalry highlights the week.

  2. GrandNubian Says:

    Eagles 41 - Cowboys 20

  3. Melzie Says:

I’m hoping for an upset in Atlanta, but I’ll most likely be the one upset…lol

  4. Mizzo Says:

Melzie C come on up to Philly baby girl. We gotcha :)

  5. Tariq Says:

I’m with you on all your picks except I got San Fran and Houston.

  6. Eric Daniels Says:

I am with you expect on Indy, Sanders out for the year does not bode year for their secondary especaily with Hayden out makes the Colts vunerable and with Josh Freeman starting the Bucs may win one game this year and take Terrence Cody as their first pick.

  7. Tariq Says:

Oh, and we know you’re covering the game and you can’t have a pick and all, but we know you got Philly.

  8. HarveyDent Says:

Don’t know about Eagles-’Boys yet. I’m not getting a vibe for it like I did for the Giants telling me either way whether the Eagles will win or not. Guess I’ll know when I pick my jersey on Sunday. Stay tuned….

  9. Temple3 Says:

Good stuff. If the Titans win at SF, Singletary is going to have a very real problem this season. After opening up with wins vs. Seattle and at Arizona, they’ve fallen so far that folks are reasonably picking the Titans to beat them at home.

  10. Eric Daniels Says:

Temple, I am going to disagree with Titans - Niners game because their secondary is totally destroyed with injuries so Alex Smith should have a great game with Davis, Bruce and Crabtree tearing it up for major yards. I don’t think Fisher is totally convinced VY is his guy and until Fisher or Young leaves I don’t the Titans are going to develop into a contender.

  11. Ray Diaz Says:

Cowboys 34, Eagles 19. Yes you heard right. and yes Roy Williams will have a good game.

  12. thebrotherreport Says:

I think the Texans are going to give the Colts a fight. Frisco brought alot of pressure last week and there’s no reason why the Texans can’t.

Last season I was high on Houston, right now they’re in a position to make a playoff run.

The Eagles special team coverage is a concern for me P. Crayton has gone crazy the past 2 weeks. I think Dallas is going to look to take away the intermediate and deep routes.

The Birds may have to play small ball to win. But then again, I haven’t seen a secondary that can keep DJ10 under a blanket

  13. Eric Daniels Says:

The Bucs mighty get a win today and Josh Freeman is looking like a franchise QB

  14. Mizzo Says:

Josh was impressive. I said on Twitter that his poise reminds me just how cool Warren Moon was. The Bucs have two talented young qb’s. What a novelty.
