December 1, 1955: The Day A Rose Parked and Did Not Move

a-rose December 1, 1955: The Day A Rose Parked and Did Not Move

Insha’Allah (God willing), there will be a time where we all can muster the type of courage Rosa Parks exhibited in 1955. Yes, things have changed dramatically but the memory of “Mom” doing her due diligence lives strong in my mind powered by the soul of her weary, but determined eyes on this very day. Thank you Mom. We miss you.

The courage you showed you’re gold, some sold, their nose it rose, so cold the hose, time froze, it knows, your seat I hold.
