America has broken Haiti irreparably it seems, from Bill Clinton through to our own barry obama.

with this natural disaster and america applying a military jack-boot to whatever clear space remains in Haiti,s breathing tubes, it seems to me that that nation of blac people is done, finished.

we may be witrnessing in our time the end of a most fabulous and enduring people, the greatest the new world has throw-up so far….defeated by the collective and relentless might and unforgiving racism of europeans and their spawn in the USA, Canada and Latin America.

after all it is Lula Da Silva, so-called progressive president of Brasil, who has sent his troops to effect the American organised, UN sponsired shutdown of the Haitian ordinary folk

my intent is to provoke nothing but the develolpment of awarenes and action ofthe building kind. Martin was a great man and malcolm too… and I say after them.

I say after Hugo Chavez also, who recently excoriated the FARC in Colombia for not getting into the political process and seeking to win elections, to change the process by the involvement and development of the peoples’ ability ro participate and take over their social process and make of it what is essential for their survival, security and indefinite progress.

Chavez himself has turned the Venezuealan political process, the struggle for democracy, into a school for the development of the people, who in the process are developing into a full people capable of running their society with no need for any parasitic leading class of capitalism and/or intellect to guide them to folly and exploitation.

this is my way, what I recommend, the REVOLUTION…. but as a prodcut of the spontaneous rise of the people….or the people empowering a progressive party they have formed or otherwise have given rise to themselves, through regular elections.

and if you do know perhaps might have heard of or run into in your travels, a great westindian intellect by the name of CLR James…who wrote one of the greatest books on sports by the name of ‘Beyond a Boundary.’

James taught at Howard University I believe and lectured extensivley all over the USA before his death in 1989.

James is also responsible for the massive and fundamental historical work ‘The Black Jacobins: the History of Toussaint L’overture and the Haitian Revolution.’

I ran into Starting five by link from one of the the blac’ sites I am always into, perhaps Blac Commentator or Blac Agenda report, perhaps one of the Tom Joyner sites….I dont remember

I was attracted by the debate on the Hadron Collider and stayed to enjoy the sports discussions.

I also bet on sports events all the time. its fun to bet. I enjoy betting immensly.

the provincial government of Ontario is the official bookie of Canada and we can bet through that government betting shop on NFL football etc.

we were able to bet on basketball as well until the NBA stopped it.

the discussion here does not hurt my perception…can help sharpen up my bets.

the Haitian people are a great and important people. we could pay tribute to them, to haiti, at least by talking about their achievements and what these have meant in the history of the hemisphere, 205 years since Dessaline declared the independence of that nation!
