Chris Bosh, Dwyane Wade, LeBron James: New York Here, Miami There or Chicago Everywhere?

The crème de la crème are laughing at all of us. Fellas just link up and form NBA Voltron. Why not?

It’s that time. Social networks twitter and facebook are abuzz as folks are wondering where LeBron James will play next season. Teams all over the place are clearing cap space. Man this has become a soap opera. I was joking earlier that editors, writers, bloggers and whoever else are straight buggin’ because it seemed as if on 12:01 am, July 1st the world was going to end. 2012 the NBA movie? Maybe it was just a LeBron James Christmas Story? I don’t know, but this free agent crop and signing period will be one of the most talked about off seasons in NBA history. Cats are opting out like crazy to jockey for that big pay day because there might not be another.

As far as LeBron, Flash and CB4…why not have a free agent summit and discuss the biggest decision of their NBA lives beforehand? All this bull crap about ego and not having enough balls to go around needs to stop. This cats did it for a three year Olympic commitment, so why not now?

Some are doing it inexplicably like Richard Jefferson…who opted out and left 15 million on the table in San Antonio. Others like the very talented Rudy Gay are restricted free agents thus teams will have to match offers thrown their way. Get that money now, because the next collective bargaining agreement will surely sway in the owners favor.

LeBron James is the most marketable athlete alive so for him to shop his wares is not only credible but intelligent. You only live once and LBJ is in a most unique position to cash in.

Yes, of course this is about money, but this is also about players settling into the right system in hopes of winning a championship. If I was LeBron James, I would stay in Cleveland (expected to secure Byron Scott as coach) but LeBron if you and Bosh go down to Miami and hang out with Flash and DJ Irie for a couple of years, I ain’t madatcha. Do not be surprised if a blockbuster trade goes down before the 8th.

OK, let’s get to it…

The real deal:

1. LeBron James: Could go anywhere he wants. Most likely will not end up in New York.

2. Dwyane Wade: For the love of Eva Mendes, why in the hell would he leave South Beach

3. Chris Bosh: Where he goes will probably decide who wins the championship next season.

4. Dirk Nowitzki: Does he need a change of scenery when Mark Cuban gives him the keys and the crib?

5. Amare Stoudemire: Does stat have the ticker it takes to sacrifice everything during the year to win a championship or is it simply about the dough?

6. Carlos Boozer: Another player who could tip the postseason scales. 20 and 10 guy.

7. Joe Johnson: Very talented but shrunk up in the post season. Red flag?

8. Rudy Gay: One of the most talented players in the league. It’s up to him if he wants to become super. I thought he would become the player Kevin Durant is by now. He’s that good.

9. Paul Pierce: Probably staying home, but you never know…could he end up in LA?

10. David Lee: Scorer and banger. In right system could flourish.

  1. Good blog. With everything that I’ve heard and read, I would be more upset if this free agency went by without a major trade than if Lebron, Wade, and Bosh turned a team into a superpower. I think Lebron will stay in Cleveland, and I hope Pierce stays in Boston.

  2. GrandNubian says:

    Mizz,

I heard yesterday that the Nuggets could end up trading Melo if he doesn’t sign an extension. Rumor is that the Knicks would go after him.

  3. Mizzo says:

I saw that as well. My people told me that ain’t happening. Denver would be stupid to not put pieces around Melo but of course you can never be sure.

  4. sankofa says:

Haters are horrified that these “knee-grows” are “all about the money” not about the championship, team cohesion, integrity of the game, the security of the NBA” or other anti-African excuses than the fact that (a) Der Fuhur is trying to butt fuck the Players Union while the billionaire owners are supplying the lube.

    (b) That most of the Owners, due to TV money either cannot, will not or have any incentive to put a good team together…not when you will make millions on TV deals even if you don’t sell out your publicly funded stadium.

    (c) The fan(atics) are basement dwelling ass holes, who would rather spend hard earned money on some billionaires wet dream, living vicariously through strong athletic millionaires who have young willing women opening up for them, instead of seeking their own miserable lives and that of their neglected spawns.

Have I covered every body? Good!

Following the white rabbit down the stank hole, I see the and read the hate on the top three as fools pontificate on the fucking sanctity of the game, while still refusing to give African men the right to scratch their own balls after extracting them from the plantation owners solicitous vice grip.

Oh! and by the way don’t let the FREE agency period consume us and fool us to the hatchet job currently been done on Michael VIck. Shit…haters have stamina!

  5. sankofa says:

“instead of seeking their own miserable lives and that of their neglected spawns.

should have read instead of seeking to correct their own miserable lives and that of their neglected spawns.

  6. GrandNubian says:

I just heard that Byron Scott accepted the job to be the HC in Cleveland.

Does this means that Lebron stays?

  7. sankofa says:

The sound you hear is that of the first domino falling …..

  8. GrandNubian says:

    LOL@ sankofa…..I hear you bruh. :-)

    Sorry for the thread-jack, Mizz……

Tiger Woods is paying his soon-to-be ex-wife $750 million!!!!!

    DA-YUM!!!!!!!!!

  9. sankofa says:

$750 million? Proof positive that a knee-grpow in captivity is a willing eunoch and and a jial house bitch all in one. Not the first, not the last, but till now the most expensive.

Some oppressed first world country could use some of that paper.

  10. Temple3 says:

He’s an idiot! A pure fucking idiot. 3/4 of a BILLION dollars to a fucking nanny over some ass? Really???????

  11. Temple3 says:

Don’t be surprised if that cat is DONE.

If can actually concentrate on GOLF after getting reamed like that, he’s really the G.O.A.T. Losing that much loot has got to mess with your mind. Wow…what an idiot.

  12. GrandNubian says:

    @sankofa,

I wonder if he still thinks he’s Cablasian. :-)

    @T3,

That’s about $83 mil for each chick he banged. Dayum….that’s some expensive @$$.

He should’ve tried being like Derek Jeter instead of being like Michael Jordan. :-)

  13. sankofa says:

LoL! @Temple, slow down man you’re giving idiots a bad name.

  14. Temple3 says:

One of my friends said that there is NO WAY he’s paying her because of his adultery — but that he is paying her to be SILENT about what she knows about him.

Tiger’s reputation and his money-making potential will DISAPPEAR if he’s ever linked to PEDs. If she has the goods, she’s holding all the keys.

If that’s the case, then $750M isn’t such a steep price to pay for a deal made with the devil.

  15. Origin says:

Man Sankofa thank you for telling it like it is when it comes to Vick and NBA free agancy.

Temple Tiger is a punk a busta and a simp. This is nothing more then an example of white wealth……..black labor. Tiger is a fool I would tell that nanny here is 200 mill get to stepping.

Who cares if she publishes what she knows about him. That simps career is dead anyway he will never make that 750 mill back when you take into account inflation. I rather have my name be mud and have my 750 mill. Then have my name be semi mud and just have 50 mill.

And to tell you the truth its even sad on Elin’s part or whatever her name is. I mean shoot Juanita got half of MJ stuff even bob johnson wife got half. Them sistas had dirt on both them dudes and still were kind enough to take half and call it a day.

This heffa trying to pull a michael strahan wife and take all this dude’s money. And the media tries to say black women are gold diggers…………….please sistas ain’t got nothing on some of these women.

Tiger is another fine example of black folks who have wealth but have no power. Cause if he truely was powerful Elin would get 50 mill and told to shut up and be happy. Ain’t that what Paul McCartney did……….dude worth 1 billion and went upside his ex wife head a few times. She had all types of dirt on him and wouldn’t say crap.

Simps like Tiger just make me sick………now Elin whole family will live off this money for centuries. While Tiger built the wealth with labor and the woods family will have nothing to show for it. Earl Woods is rolling over in a grave.

Can we get a pimp named slickback on the phone for this busta Tiger??

  16. sankofa says:

Nah Origin slickback would a back slapped that cabalasian bitch two ways from Saturday. What the eunuch failed to overstand is when there is a “white and black dynamics” in this White Supremacy system, the “white” always come out on top. Shit the prenuptial I think may be less than $50 million, but he’ll give her more for the opportunity to suck them buster’s pecker on the golf course.

I think tiger is exhibiting classic example of an abused child. The need to identify with other than himself to feel accepted and the desire to seek acceptance to the point of becoming the victim over and over is classic. But the eunuch is 30 years old…and this is 2010 (Roman calendar), you can’t say you don’t know what the game is.

Damn if they had pictures of me porking a dog, while eating my tofu burgers I’ll still be keeping my money and go turn out my own generation of little Tigers. But then I’m not a eunuch!

  17. mapoui says:

shit! should ave cleaned up the link!

  18. Mizzo says:

No pro on the thread jack fam. You all are simply proving what I already knew…free agency ain’t a story until players sign on the dotted line.

  19. GrandNubian says:

Tiger should’ve just kept it “Derek Jeter” (bang ‘em and kept on moving.) (lol)

  20. Mizzo says:

Rudy Gay resigns with the Memphis Grizzlies for 5 years and a little over 82 million.

  21. Origin says:

Yo Mizzo the first domino fell……….Darrko signed for 4 years 20 mill.

I guess now we know where Lebron and Bosh are going…….LOL!!!

On the real why does coach scott always gets offers to coach crapy teams. Them when he makes them better he is canned……now thats garbage.

  22. mapoui says:

some fool on espn siad coach scott 352-355 is not a winner. he did not see the state of Jesey and Nawlins when scott when there.

why would scott coach fo shin anyway?

and no waiting on PF at LA either, and won wont LBJ saty now that scot is there?

  23. mapoui says:

bad typing! i.s no waiting on Phil Jackson at LA…and why wont LBJ stay now that scott is there?

  24. KevDog says:

    MP:

    Phil is returning.

  25. GrandNubian says:

    *** Tiger update ***

It looks as if Forbes is de-bunking the story:

    http://content.usatoday.com/communities/gameon/post/2010/07/tiger-woods-divorce-elin-750-million/1

  26. Origin says:

Thanks for the info GN………so that means the simp will be paying Elin $600 mill……..LOL!!!!

  27. KevDog says:

I never believed the $750 Mil. Never thought Tiger had $1 Bil banked. That’s why I don’t pay attention to rumors. EVER.

  28. sankofa says:

Watch, NJ and Cleveland be different teams than the ones that finished last year. Not necessary in wins but in the way they compete. Why? because the respective coaches will be coaching their asses off.

“On the real why does coach scott always gets offers to coach crapy teams. Them when he makes them better he is canned……now thats garbage. Yep! So it is.

Just like NFL head coaches and Quaterbacks as well! And then when both teams look and do good, will the haters say it’s the players or the new coaches that actually do coach and don’t kiss the players assess.

By the way KevDog, don’t you think that broke down hippie need to give way to new blood?

  29. KevDog says:

Re: LBJ, D-Wade and Bosh teaming up-which ain’t happenin’. Not, IMO, a winning scenario.

  30. Mizzo says:

Please. Three different personalities and skill sets in their prime? They would murder the league with two stiffs out of your infirmary Doc. All Miami needs is a bench if that goes down.

  31. KevDog says:

    Miz

D-Wade and LeBron are virtually the same player. And they would still have serious depth, size and defensive problems. I don’t think they’d get past the Celtics or Magic.

  32. Mizzo says:

Doc you’re buggin. Who guards Bosh in the East at the 4? Yes both Wade and LBJ are slashers but the indicator is how they got down during the Olympics. Good money. Trust they would make it work. Both are decent defensive players who would command doubles.

Bosh’s numbers would be ridiculous. There’s no team in the league who could stop those three for seven games.

Also you must factor in that LBJ is pass first. Wade would be the primary scorer and LeBron might lead the league in dimes dropped all over the place.

Of course they would need a bench but no one could score with three players capable of 30 a night.

  33. KevDog says:

    Miz

Neither Lebron or Wade are pass-first kind of guys. They are both guys who only pass when it’ll lead to an assist. Neither makes the pass that leads to the assist, nor do either of them reverse the ball whn they pass. They are both ball dominant slashers who can occasionally get going with the J. They are both decent help defenders but neither of them guards the ball well. Neither of them has shown the slightest inclination to play off ball. Neither of them moves particularly well off ball and neither of them is adept at running off picks to catch and shoot. Bosh would benefit on the offensive end by all of the attention the other two would command, but his size makes him more of a PF than a true C. He struggles to gain position against bigger defenders and disappears when things get physical.

I can’t see them coming out of the East and no way in Hell, I mean, absolutely no way in Hell do they beat the Lakers if Bynum is healthy. I mean seriously, it’d be a slaughter.

  34. Mizzo says:

So according to you they would suck and would be out of the playoffs in the first round.

C’mon Doc. Ride or die with yours but I have to be objective here.

LeBron James is not a true scorer. He gets to the rim when he has to but his passing skills rival any point guard who has ever played. You just gotta see it up close Doc. The TV does his game no justice.

  35. Origin says:

Brotha Kev I have to disagree with you……….Lebron passes like a new generation Magic Johnson.

That dude has no problem passing…………he has always been more like Magic or Bird then he has ever been like Jordan or Kobe.

Now as far as Lebron, Wade and Bosh going to the same team I highly doubt that. I am not sure the league would even like them all to be on the same team. Those dudes would destroy the league.

@ Sankofa………..yeah brotha they always do that crap to black coaches and QBs. Its just a shame that Scott and Avery have to go to crappy teams. Even though they took their teams to the finals.

Also brotha Kev I like you never thought that lil Tigger was worth 1 bill.

Anyway Mizzo I still got my money on president Obama getting Lebron and Boozer on the Bulls…….LOL!!!

Now if he can only get Mcnabb a WR like Vincent Jackson……….brotha Temple I know you got some pull can you get on the horn and make it happen???

  36. HarveyDent says:

Cornucopia of topics so let’s start it off…

    1. I don’t think the Big 3 free agents will all play on the same team but I do like how the MSM got into a tizzy that these three, four if you include Joe Johnson, were considering having a summit to turn the game on its head by dictating to owners and the league what they were going to do with their careers. We all know it caused such a tempest because it was a group of Black men actually thinking outside the box and not being the typical, stereotypical athletes only interested in making nice for the media.

    2. I posted on Facebook that Elin should break that cablinasian for everything he got if he’s that damn stupid to fall for blonde hair and a pair of nice tits. I get tired of these athletes especially Black athletes sacrificing themselves over trivial things and excuse me for being a libertine but I adultery does not keep me up at nights because people especially young, famous people are going to do what they do if they can do it. Tiger cheated, got caught, and now he needs to move from it. If he wasn’t out there trying to repair his image so much his golf game would be back to it’s pre-Torrey Pines level and everyone throwing mud on him today would be polishing his knob again tomorrow.

    3. Michael Vick can’t win for losing it seems. In a perfect world, he would be in Philly with his head in the Eagles’ playbook getting ready for training camp. It’s not a perfect world though and I have no problem with him being out enjoying his birthday with his family and friends. The problems come in with knuckleheads causing trouble which is what the guy who got shot did. Hopefully it will all blow over but if it doesn’t and he ends up out of the NFL so be it because it better to be free than be owned. Would serve the Eagles right too if they go into the season with only Kolb as the QB.

    4. If McNabb gets Vincent or TO with him in DC to team with Cooley and Moss with Portis, Johnson, and Parker in the backfield and bookend tackles in a high draft pick and a starter from the most recent SB champ then the NFC East can cancel Xmas because his shoes are going to brown from all the ass he’s going to kick down there.

  37. Origin says:

    Great points on everything Harvey.

Man I would die laughing if the eagles went into the season with only Kolb. Man Kolb won’t last the past week 10. LOL!!!!

Yeah and if Mcnabb gets TO or Vincent its over!!!

  38. Mizzo says:

    Two Face…great comment.

Looks like Barack is getting everything else he wants athletically in DC O, so why not the King and Boozer in Chicago?

Just saw a couple of sick plays from the CFL. I can’t wait until football season. I’m waiting for everything to shake out before commenting on Vick, but fellas it doesn’t look good. Fans I’ve spoken with are shook that Kolb will go into training camp alone…and exposed.

  39. Mizzo says:

My man Branson Wright reports Pat Riley and Leon Rose (LBJ’s agent) met late last night. This will be referenced by many outlets today. Good job Branson.

  40. GrandNubian says:

    Two-Face…..

What’s your email address? I want to add you on Facebook.

  41. GrandNubian says:

I heard last night where the Heat have the most room under the salary cap of any team in the NBA ($44 mil, if i’m not mistaken).

Also, they could sign Wade, Lebron or Amare all for $15 mil per year……IF they all agree to that price. I’m not sure if all three would want to do that or not. Will they trade the money for multiple titles? Inquiring minds want to know and would like to see it.

It looks like Bosh wants to get the max, so whether or not he ends up in “the bottom” (code word for Miami, just in case you northern cats never heard it. :-) ) remains to be seen.

  42. HarveyDent says:

GN, just look up Jason O. Logan on FB and that’s me
