Ron Glover’s NFC Divisional Playoff Prediction Seattle Seahawks vs. Chicago Bears

It’s a good thing that my predictions are made with Monopoly money on the table or Luca Brasi would be paying me a visit. The final two tickets to Championship Sunday will be punched today. Let’s look at the first meeting today between the Seattle Seahawks and Chicago Bears.

The Seahawks must:
- Provide a good mix of Marshawn Lynch and Leon Washington out of the backfield
- Create mismatches for Chris Clemons and Raheem Brock to get to Jake Cutler
- Allow Mike Williams to use his height in the Red Zone
- Stay away from Devin Hester in the return game
The Bears must:
- Get Devin Hester involved as much as possible
- Get hits on Matt Hasselbeck
- Protect Jake Cutler and not allow his emotions to turn into mistakes
- Give Matt Forte at least 20 touches
The Pick: Seattle 23 – Bears 17
Well the Seahawks gave it a good try…..god bless’em.
Wow, RG, it took some stones to make that pick.
Like the Luca Brasi reference.
C’mon Maaaaaan:
@RG: I’m not gonna give you a hard time about going with that broken down clock of a QB in Matt Hasselbeck, but I’m wondering why you didn’t roll with the home team that beat the Jets, the Eagles, and the Packers down the stretch.
Just sayin’.
