I’m torn on the bounty revelations because Buddy Ryan had teams here in Philly that put the hit out on kickers and their Mommas if he could. Of course this story will be sensationalized. Casual fans will gasp. The NFL front office will react and heads might roll. Should we defer to the players or is it all about fan perception of the game?

I’m not gonna lie, Kobe looks crazy with that mask on. Crazy as a mug. Like Robocop behind plexiglass. He can get you, but nah B, it’s not the other way around. His 33 put away the Heat in LA 93-83 (who cares about a broken nose story line). Beans is still a viable MVP candidate. Folks can take Durant or LeBron, but I still have to rock with Kobe until I see a considerable drop off in skill and athleticism. He’s a champion…many times over. He doesn’t dunk like he could not so long ago (and he knows it every time he falls to the floor), but he’s still Kobe Bryant. Mike Brown has the Lakers playing some nice D huh? Give up credit where it’s due.

This was a terrific Sunday for basketball because, Beans wasn’t the only player to go off…
