The legend of Pat Summitt is comparable to any coach in the history of college athletics.

Pat Summitt retired yesterday after 38 years as the women’s basketball coach at the University of Tennessee. Summitt holds the esteemed honor of being the all-time winningest coach in NCAA basketball history – women’s or men’s in any division. Her eight national titles are second only to John Wooden’s ten at UCLA. During her legendary tenure in Knoxville, Summitt and her Lady Vols never endured a losing season.
