Pat Summitt retired yesterday after 38 years as the women’s basketball coach at the University of Tennessee. Summitt holds the esteemed honor of being the all-time winningest coach in NCAA basketball history - women’s or men’s in any division. Her eight national titles are second only to John Wooden’s ten at UCLA. During her legendary tenure in Knoxville, Summitt and her Lady Vols never endured a losing season.
Incomparable.
What Temple said. Man or woman.
She’s pretty much all I grew up on in terms of the Lady Vols (being from TN, of course). Kudos!
Go with God, Coach
She is so fierce. Truly the end of an era.
Great coach, greater lady.
