Tip-Off for 6/11/12 (featuring Common): Is a dynasty franchise still possible in today’s NBA?

Throughout the NBA playoffs the brass of the Oklahoma City Thunder has been commended for the exceptional job they have done in building a quality franchise that could contend for a championship each season. With Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook locked up contractually and the same will eventually be done for super-sub James Harden, the future looks good for the Thunder.

Boston’s Big Three of Ray Allen, Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce were together for five seasons, winning one title in season one. In Miami, the unit of Dwayne Wade, LeBron James and Chris Bosh are getting their second crack at the title in as many seasons together.
