Off to an epic start…
In 2004 Jurickson Profar was a star player for the Little League World Series champions from Curacao. Yesterday Profar became the second youngest player in major league history to hit a home run in his first major league at-bat. Profar at 19 years and 195 days started at second base in place of Ian Kinsler yesterday for the Texas Rangers.
If you’ve followed the brief but productive career of Profar, this is nothing short of expected.
