Andre Johnson is enjoying another Pro Bowl season.

The NFL season is a month old and we still have three undefeated teams of the unlikely variety. The Arizona Cardinals, Atlanta Falcons and Houston Texans are 4-0. Each team is gaining confidence each week.

Of the seven 3-1 teams, two have a legitimate claim at the top spot. If you’re looking at the Philadelphia Eagles whose three victories have some by a grand total of four points, you don’t really know what to think.

Tip-Off for 10/3/12 (featuring GangStarr): Geno Smith: Time to recognize

Until last Saturday some people didn’t have the foggiest idea who Geno Smith was.

From the moment Robert Griffin III was awarded the Heisman Trophy last December the know-it-alls of college football just about handed the award to USC quarterback Matt Barkley.

Like Andrew Luck before him, Barkley is learning that being the front-runner isn’t always a good thing. West Virginia’s Geno Smith is putting up eye-popping numbers that may even surpass the previous two Heisman winners Cam Newton and Robert Griffin III.
