While we’re still early in the campaign, here are my All-NBA picks for the 2012-13 season.

NBA Rookie of the Year: Anthony Davis, New Orleans Hornets 

NBA All-Rookie Team: Guard: Brandon Beale (Wizards), Guard: Damian Lilliard (Trailblazers), Forward: Michael Kidd-Gilchrist (Bobcats),  Forward: Thomas Robinson (Kings), Center: Anthony Davis (Hornets)

 

NBA Comeback Player of the Year: Jeff Green, Boston Celtics

 

NBA Most Improved Player: Kenneth Faried, Denver Nuggets

(Runners up: James Harden, Houston Rockets and Jrue Holiday, Philadelphia 76ers)

 

NBA Coach of the Year: Doc Rivers, Boston Celtics

(Runners up: Greg Popovich, San Antonio Spurs and Doug Collins, Philadelphia 76ers)

 

NBA Sixth Man of the Year: Ray Allen, Miami Heat

(Runners up: Jamal Crawford, Los Angeles Clippers, MarShon Brooks, New Jersey Nets and Lou Williams, Atlanta Hawks)

 

NBA Defensive Player of the Year: Dwight Howard, Los Angeles Lakers
