A slimmed down and focused Carmelo Anthony is the unquestioned leader of the Knicks.

Mike D’Antoni finally made it to the sidelines last night and his new team did not disappoint. Kobe Bryant, Dwight Howard and Pau Gasol were major contributors in the Lakers 95-90 victory over the Brooklyn Nets.

If you’re looking for an early candidate for NBA MVP, Carmelo Anthony may be your man. The Knicks forward poured in 29 points as the Knicks blew out the New Orleans Hornets 102-80.

After months of speculation on where he would play and what was taking teams so long to give him a look, Plaxico Burress was signed by the Pittsburgh Steelers. The signing marks the return to the Steel City where Burress began his career.
