The Los Angeles Lakers season continues to spiral out of control with an embarrassing 100-94 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Knicks 100 – Nets 94 – Jason Kidd’s sixth three-pointer broke a 97 all tie, giving the Knicks the victory. Reggie Evans grabbed 18 boards for the Nets.
Cavs 100 – Lakers 94 – Kobe Bryant led all scorers with 42 points and Dwight Howard grabbed 20 rebounds for the Lakers. Kyrie Irving finished with 11 assists and C.J. Miles had 28 points for Cleveland.
Nuggets 101 – Pistons 94 – Detroit fell to the Nuggets despite winning the rebounding battle 51-37. Ty Lawson had 26 points and 7 assists for the visiting Nuggets. Brandon Knight led the Pistons with 20 points and 5 assists.
Wizards 77 – Hornets 70 – Both teams struggled from the field, shooting below 33 percent. Anthony Davis scored 13 points in his return to the Hornets lineup. Jordan Crawford led the Wizards with 26 points and Nene grabbed 10 boards. Ryan Anderson led the Hornets with 17 points and 11 rebounds.
Clippers 94 – Bulls 89 – Blake Griffin led the Clippers with 22 points and 10 rebounds. Carlos Boozer led all scorers with 23 points and 13 boards.
