Carmelo Anthony shoots over Metta World Peace for two of his 30 points.
The matchup between the Los Angeles Lakers and New York Knicks didn’t live up to the billing unless you were counting on another MVP-type performance from Carmelo Anthony.
Anthony scored 30 points in 23 minutes of game time as the Knicks led by 19 points at the half. Anthony would leave the game with an ankle injury, but the Knicks were able to cruise to a 116-107 victory.
