Philadelphia Eagles Hire Chip Kelly

Chip Kelly is looking to cook up something nice with the offensive ingredients he has in Philly.

It took close to two weeks, but the Philadelphia Eagles have ended their search for a head coach. Chip Kelly reversed field on potential recruits and the University of Oregon football community after declining the Birds offer over a week ago. In a stunning turn of events, Kelly and the Eagles agreed he is the man to replace Andy Reid, becoming the 21st head coach in team history.

Maybe it was the NCAA sanctions facing the University of Oregon which caused his change of heart.

Have the Wonder Twins’ powers finally been activated?

The spontaneous combustion of Kobe Bryant and Dwight Howard is what NBA fans have hoped for, or feared. Kobe Bryant has been an Aston Martin among Toyotas – while Howard’s first two months in Tinseltown have been met with some turbulence. The Lakers have struggled, but have shown recent improvement at both ends of the floor. Dwight Howard was a presence in the paint with 16 boards and 4 blocks as Lakers blew out the Milwaukee Bucks 104-88.
