The once red-hot Los Angeles Clippers have slowly descended back to earth. Chris Paul has been injured and there has been no timetable for his return. The Washington Wizards are playing better with John Wall back in the lineup. The Wizards won their 12th game of the season, defeating the Clippers 98-90. It was the Clippers third consecutive loss — who were without Blake Griffin.
Pacers 111 – Bulls 101 – The Pacers shot 54 percent from the floor and won the rebounding battle 47-35. David West scored a game-high 29 points for Indiana. Marco Belinelli led the Bulls with 24 points.
76ers 78 – Magic 61 – The Sixers won their third in a row in what was the ugliest contest of the evening. Spencer Hawes led Philly with 21 points and 14 boards. Jrue Holiday handed out 14 assists. Nick Vuvevic led the Magic with 14 rebounds.
Wizards 98 – Clippers 90 – Washington shot 58 percent from behind the arc. Martel Webster led the Wizards with 21 points and Emeka Okafor had 14 rebounds. Jamal Crawford had 28 points and DeAndre Jordan grabbed 22 rebounds for the Clippers.
Knicks 99 – Pistons 85 – Carmelo Anthony scored 27 points and Tyson Chandler grabbed 20 rebounds as the Knicks won their fifth game in a row. Jose Calderon led Detroit with 15 points.
Heat 99 – Bobcats 94 – LeBron James was 13 of 14 from the floor and scored a game-high 31 points. Dwyane Wade finished with 12 rebounds. Ramon Sessions led a game Bobcats squad with 18 points.
Thunder 112 – Mavericks 91 – The Thunder shot 40 percent from three-point range. Russell Westbrook led OKC with 24 points and 7 assists. Shawn Marion led the Mavs with 23 points.
Blazers 100 – T-Wolves 98 – The Blazers shot 59 percent from the floor LaMarcus Aldridge led Portland with 25 points and 13 boards. Dante Cunningham had 23 points and Ricky Rubio had 14 assists for Minnesota.
Jazz 98 – Kings 91 – Randy Foye had 20 points and 6 assists for the Jazz. Al Jefferson added 15 points and 12 boards. Jason Thompson led the Kings with 23 points and 10 rebounds.
