The San Antonio Spurs 104-94 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves was their season-high 11th in a row. With Tim Duncan out with a sore ankle and knees, rumors have surfaced about a possible deal for Utah Jazz center Al Jefferson. Acquiring Jefferson allows the Spurs to rest Duncan while maintaining an effective low post presence. Stay tuned.


Pacers 88 – 76ers 69 – Both teams shot poorly as the 76ers committed 15 turnovers. Roy Hibbert had a double-double with 18 points and 14 boards. Jrue Holiday led Philadelphia with 19 points.

Wizards 106 – Knicks 96 – The Wizards have back-to-back wins against playoff-bound squads. John Wall had 21 points and 9 assists for Washington. Carmelo Anthony scored a game-high 31 points for New York.

Clippers 86 – Magic 76 – The Magic lost their 11th in a row, shooting 34 percent from the field. Eric Bledsoe led all scorers with 27 points. Jameer Nelson led Orlando with 18 points.

Cavaliers 122 – Bobcats 95 – The Bobcats dropped their 5th straight and have only won 2 of their last 10 contests. Kyrie Irving had 22 points and Marreese Speights had 10 rebounds for Cleveland. Byron Mullens led Charlotte with 15 points.

Hawks 103 – Grizzlies 92 – Jeff Teague scored 22 points and handed out 13 assists. Zach Randolph led Memphis with 20 points.

Heat 114 – Rockets 108 – LeBron James scored a game-high 32 points in a closely contested game. Udonis Haslem added 13 boards for the Heat. James Harden scored 36 and added 7 assists for the Rockets.

Nets 93 – Pistons 90 – Detroit shot 17 percent from beyond the arc. Brook Lopez led Brooklyn with 17 points. Greg Monroe had 23 points and 10 rebounds for the Pistons.

Hornets 93 – Suns 84 – The Hornets shot 52 percent from the floor. Greivis Vasquez had 19 points and 12 assists for New Orleans. Marcin Gortat led the Suns with 14 points and 7 assists.

Thunder 119 – Warriors 98 – Kevin Durant scored a game-high 25 points. Rookie Harrison Barnes led Golden State with 19 points.

Mavericks 105 – Blazers 99 – Coach Rick Carlisle won his 500th games as a head coach. O.J. Mayo led Dallas with 28 points. LaMarcus Aldridge led the Blazers with 28 points and 10 rebounds.

Spurs 104 – T-Wolves 94 – Tony Parker led the Spurs with 31 points and 8 assists. Nikola Pekovic led Minnesota with 21 points.

Jazz 100 – Bucks 86 – The Jazz outrebounded the Bucks 50-37. Paul Milsap led Utah with 19 points and 5 assists. Ersa Illyasova led Milwaukee with 17 points.
