Tip-Off for 2/22/13 (featuring Julius Erving): Miami Heat rout Chicago Bulls in 86-67 victory

Not even Benny the Bull can slow down LeBron James and the hard-charging Miami Heat.

The Miami Heat gave the Chicago Bulls a taste of their own medicine in a 86-67 blowout. The Bulls shot 37 percent and committed an uncharacteristic 26 turnovers. The win pushed the Heat’s win streak to nine games, it was also Miami’s first win in Chicago since LeBron James’ arrival in South Beach during the 2010-11 season.

Heat 86 – Bulls 67 – LeBron James led Miami with 26 points, 12 rebounds and 7 assists. The Bulls were held to 45 points after scoring 22 in the first quarter. Nate Robinson led Chicago with 14 points. Joakim Noah handed out 8 assists.

Spurs 116 – Clippers 90 – Tony Parker continued his hot streak, scoring a game-high 31 points in less than three quarters of play. The Spurs shot 59 percent from the field. Matt Barnes led Los Angeles with 18 points.
