Andre Iguodala handed out 12 dimes in the Nuggets win over the Lakers.
The Denver Nuggets sent a message to the NBA last night. George Karl’s thoroughbreds had their way with the Los Angeles Lakers in a 119-108 victory. The Nuggets open floor attack left the Lakers defenseless.
Wizards 90 – Raptors 84 – The Wizards shot 58 percent from beyond the arc and won the rebounding battle 49-39. Bradley Beal led Washington with 20 points. Emeka Okafor grabbed 13 rebounds. DeMar DeRozan led Toronto with a game-high 25 points.
Hawks 114 – Pistons 103 – Josh Smith led the Hawks with 23 points. Al Horford scored 20 points and grabbed a game-high 22 rebounds. Rodney Stuckey led the Pistons with 22 points.
Nuggets 119 – Lakers 108 – The Nuggets won their third game in four meetings against the Lakers this season. The Nuggets outscored the Lakers in fastbreak points 33-3. Wilson Chandler led the Nuggets with 23 points and Andre Iguodala dished out a game-high 12 assists. Kobe Bryant led the Lakers with 29 points and 9 assists.
Celtics 110 – Jazz 107 – A 19-point third quarter forced the Jazz to play catch up in the fourth quarter. The Celtics closed out their five-game road trip with a flurry. Paul Pierce finished with 26 points and 8 assists. Gordon Hayward led the Jazz with 26 points.
