The Denver Nuggets’ streak continues, thanks to Corey Brewer

Corey Brewer scored a career-high 29 points including three free throws with 2.1 seconds remaining to give the Denver Nuggets a 101-100 comeback victory over the Philadelphia 76ers. Philadelphia held a five point lead with 14 seconds remaining, but Evan Turner missed two free throws and Brewer scored the game’s final six points to seal the improbable comeback for Denver. The Nuggets winning streak is now at 14 games.

Trail Blazers 99 – Bulls 89 – Portland led 80-53 after the third quarter. Chicago scored 36 points in the final period, but it wasn’t enough. LaMarcus Aldridge scored 28 points for the Trail Blazers and J.J. Hickson grabbed 21 rebounds. Joakim Noah led Chicago wuth 18 points.

Nuggets 101 – 76ers 100 – Andre Miller scored a season-high 21 points. Damien Wilkins led the Sixers with 24 points. Jrue Holiday had a game-high 15 assists.

Kings 101 – T-Wolves 98 – The T-Wolves hung tough despite shooting 41 percent from the floor. Isaiah Thomas led the Kings with 24 points and 6 assists. Nikola Pekovic led Minnesota with 18 points and 12 boards.
