Tip-Off for 3/27/13 (featuring Randall Cunningham): The Dallas Mavericks overcome the LA Clippers 109-102 in overtime to continue their playoff push

Dirk Nowitzki is returning to form just in time for the Mav’s playoff run.

The Dallas Mavericks put together a pretty nice roster in the offseason, the additions of O.J. Mayo, Darren Collison and Elton Brand added veteran leadership with a young energetic backcourt. Injuries were felt up and down the roster, including leading scorer Dirk Nowitzki.  The slow start dropped Dallas out of playoff contention.

Don’t look now, but the Mavs are climbing back into the race. Winning nine of their last twelve games, including three in a row, has placed Dallas on the heels of the Los Angeles Lakers for the final playoff spot in the West. The Mavericks defeated the Clippers 109-102 in overtime.
