The Bulls employed a no layup rule against the free wheeling Heat.

The Chicago Bulls were without Joakim Noah, Richard Hamilton and Rocco Belinelli heading into their highly anticipated meeting against the Miami Heat. The Bulls employed a physical game plan against the Heat — hitting the boards and anyone who entered the paint was paramount for the undermanned Bulls. Luol Deng and Carlos Boozer combined for 49 points and Nate Robinson was key as a reserve in Chicago’s 101-97 victory over the Miami Heat. The loss stopped Miami seven games shy of the NBA’s all-time mark for consecutive wins.
