The Lakers are following Kobe Bryant’s lead into the NBA postseason.

Driving the Los Angeles Lakers into the NBA post season has become a personal quest for Kobe Bryant. The Lakers have been through a tumultuous season with the final week being no different. Bryant continued his torrid shooting with a 47-point outburst against the Portland Trail Blazers in a 113-106 Lakers victory. Bryant has scored 70 points in his last five quarters of play.

The Miami Heat have clinched the NBA’s best record and will enjoy home court advantage throughout the playoffs. Ray Allen tied a season-high with 23 points in the Heat’s 103-98 victory over the Washington Wizards.
