Z-Bo and the Memphis Grizzlies have pushed the LA Clippers to the edge of panic.

Lob City is one game away from being grounded for the season. Blake Griffin suffered a high ankle sprain and practice and was only able to play 19:34. Griffin at 100 percent would have been no match for Zach Randolph.

The man known as Z-Bo picked the Grizzlies up when center Marc Gasol went to the bench with his 5th foul early in the 4th quarter. Randolph scored 10 points in that stretch pushing the Grizzlies to a 103-93 victory and a 3-2 series lead. Game 6 is Friday in Memphis.

Nuggets 107 – Warriors 100 – Andre Iguodala had his best game of the playoffs as Denver took a physical approach in Game 5. Warriors coach Mark Jackson took exception to the Nuggets approach, but in an interview prior to the game told Chris Mullin he would knock Steph Curry down a few times if he continued to knock down shots. According to Jackson, some of what Denver executed hinged on dirty play. Iguodala scored 25 points, grabbed 12 rebounds and handed out 7 assists. Wilson Chandler and Ty Lawson scored 19 points each. Lawson also added 10 assists.

The Warriors were held to 43 percent shooting after shooting 65, 52 and 56 percent in the previous three games, respectively. Steph Curry was held to 15 points and 8 assists. Harrison Barnes led Golden State with 23 points and 9 boards.

Warriors lead 3-2.

Grizzlies 103 – Clippers 93 – Chris Paul scored 35 points, but received little support as Los Angeles faces elimination. Jamal Crawford came on late to finish with 15 points for Los Angeles. Zach Randolph finished with 25 points and 11 rebounds (5 off.) and Marc Gasol chipped in 21 points and 8 boards, despite foul trouble. The Grizzlies continued to shut down the paint and challenged every shot.

Grizzlies lead 3-2.
