The Future of the NBA.

With the 2013 NBA Draft in everyone’s rear view mirror and the Celtics-Nets trade also done (even though it isn’t due to a whole bunch of complicated rules regarding the start of the official league year), there are a lot of things we still don’t know. A lot of lessons people either need to learn over again or never learned in the first place. I think I know a few things about what happened at the NBA Draft.

Tip-Off for 7/2/13 (featuring Monie Love): Can Sloane Stephens close the deal?

Sloane Stephens has good reason to smile: her 4-6, 7-5, 6-1 victory over Monica Puig put her in the Wimbledon quarterfinals for the first time.

Sloane Stephens is the only American singles player still alive at Wimbledon.

If it’s a tennis Grand Slam, it only means Sloane Stephens will make waves at some point. With the red-hot Serena Williams being shown an early exit, Stephens advanced to the quarterfinals at Wimbledon for the first time.
