Petulant, Abrasive and Trigger Happy.

I believe the way we view certain people says more about us than it could ever say about them. In voicing our disdain for them, we are voicing displeasure for traits we either do not possess ourselves or fighting situations in which we have been marginalized. We hate them because we aren’t them. We hate them because we see ways that they are better than us.

Maybe one of those people is Russell Westbrook.

Killer Mike goes in depth about fatherhood, racism and self preservation.

Stevie Wonder was the first entertainer of note to officially boycott the state of Florida following the George Zimmerman verdict. Jay Z and Beyonce attended a rally with the family of Trayvon Martin in NYC over the weekend. Outside of you normal rants on social media, I haven’t really heard anything in depth from anyone until now.

Killer Mike sat down with MTV and gave his uncensored views on the verdict and what the Black community needs to do next.
